This is my fun little experiment with Caustic Arrow farming expeditions.

Everyone knows Arrow Nova works great with CA, but did you know you can add Returning Projectiles to get puddles way off the screen?

Single target is awful, but I had a lot of fun farming logbooks.

I'm using two CAs: one Vaal CA for single target, and a second CA linked with Manaforged + Arrow Nova + Return + Lifetap in the chest.

You just cruise around the map attacking in front of you and the MFA handles the clear, only aiming when you find a tanky rare. Damage IS low even on the clear, but the big coverage, persistance of the puddles and occultist explosions round out everything.

Side note: I use Beacon of Madness boots to get 100% explode chance when toggled, for expeditions. I'm not doing anything to maintain the debuff stacks to minimum, I just toggle the boots when I need them. If you only use them for 10 seconds at a time you'll barely feel any of the negatives.

I did some juiced scarab expeditions too, and it works, but I also died a lot and sometimes couldn't clear. Alch and go is way faster and smoother.

I was using Null and Void gloves for rampage, despair on hit corruption, and because the extra little summons were REALLY clutch distractions against juiced expeditions, but you're probably better off using some good gloves if you're not juicing.

It was a lot of fun playing this for a couple of weeks, though I wouldn't really recommend it unless you think the coverage looks cool (it is!) and you like big boom expeditions.

Playing around with Beacon of Madness has inspired me to look towards some poison action on Occultist in the future. Getting 100% explode chance + All damage poisons from the boots seems like it could turn into a real powerful juiced expedition clearing monster, but I haven't looked into it yet.
