T16 Mapping (before power charge ramp up it feels bad)
UPDATE 1: added a video for mapping.
This is a build I found from a Chinese creator who played last league. However, I didn't find anyone who played it this way on Ninja so I decided to give it a try. Feel pretty strong compare to other builds with similar investment, especially at bossing.
The core concept is that Divergent Dark Pact can recover minions 2% life on hit which enabled the possibly to use cast on crit with 10.1 trigger rate. (The skeletons basically cannot die) Then the scaling becomes pretty straight forward, just scale the crap out of minion life. I have a Elegant Hubris Timeless Jewel that has 320% minion life, and with the Crusader gloves +2 Aoe and +1, +1 on the weapon, and +1 on the amulet and level 5 empower on the gloves +4, my summon skeletons is at level 30. With 12% minion life on two other cobalt jewels, that roughly provides 33k life to the skeletons, and ridiculous amount of base damage to the skill. Finally the skill itself has +2 chain effect, with awakened chain +3, that allows it to 6x the total damage per hit which is really crazy for single target.
Since the 2% life on hit is for all minions, that makes the AG pretty much immortal as well (lvl 27 with minion life support and minion life %, the PoB shows that my AG is at 140k life but it was probably not accurate since it also counted the gear that my character is wearing). The AG's gear is the following:
- Sign of the Sin Eater (Give me some semi elemental ailment immunity. Honestly I cannot tell how many times it triggered since I cannot see my minions debuff status but I prefer having this over Kingmaker since it was much easier to fit in fortify and culling strike in the gears)
- -9% chaos resist helmet
- Broken Faith (another -10% chaos resis and more crit chance)
- have concentrated ground when stationary body armour (which enabled profane ground on the shield)
- 10% movement speed buff boot
I haven't got him a pair of gloves yet, thought about adding another curse on hit gloves with windshriek but it is basically for bossing and didn't help much with mapping so I haven't done it.
The downside of this build is that, first it is definitely not tanky. Even with Sign of the Sin Eater, there were still a hand full of times that I get frozen in maps. Second, using summoning the skeletons feel a little clunky, I only use it as a single target setup or whenever I need more damage. For mapping, just cast on self is pretty much sufficient.
The build still has a lot of room to min-max but I am definitely having fun playing it and improving it. Suggestions are welcome if you have any good idea to improve the build. Here is the PoB
