Ruthless is the best way to learn PoE (in my opinion)

Arma brand paired with wave of conviction is a very smooth and reliable way to start your journey on Ruthless. This is not a racing tree or a meta tree! It is a simple build you can follow that can absolutely take you into deep reds and not die every 5 seconds. As always with Ruthless it is important to adapt to what you find. To change trees click on "tree" then at the bottom left where it says "Golem Version" click on that and switch to the dps version. If you need help starting your league please consider checking out my guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNi4OTyY_u8&ab_channel=Wallsh I leave these builds at level 80 due to the extreme exp penalty in Ruthless This tree will provide you with a massive amount of elemental resistance and life to make gearing easier and covers a wide range on the tree to allow for flexibility. With all of the resistance and life we get from our tree we can focus primarily on geting damage. I can tell you from personal experience (I started as this but golem version) that this was very smooth to play and I made it all the way to t14 and I was on either a 3-4l. I could have absolutely gone further but if you know me I like to reroll A LOT and bounce between characters. Please keep in mind this tree and build are designed with only Ruthless SSF in mind and is meant to be configured to your needs. Buy arma brand from siosa after doing library then get wave of conviction after you get the second uncarved from act 5. There is also the option to go for golems (which I recommend for very smooth mapping) but I leave the choice to you. The biggest downside to golems is you MUST mule another character. Luckily we get 1 golem for free and so will our next character so we can easily get 4 golems. Golems are worse for damage but due to the lack of auras they provide a much needed boost to our defence and offence. HOW TO START YOUR RUTHLESS LEAGUE: Get vitality and clarity. Mule a duelist and a templar/witch then continue with your build. If you need precision also you can get that as well! It is incredibly unlikely that you will get an aura gem for a very long time (if at all) and I strongly encourage and recommend you grab these free auras as they make life a little easier. HOW DO YOU PLAY? mapping- your arma brand should be enough to kill most enemies, if a white pack is in your face wave of conviction can usually melt it for you. the main thing we need to be afraid of is being frozen so I encourage you to get a freeze flask asap. Other than that just stay mobile do not stand in place! bossing- get your brands onto the boss then continue moving around, if it is a slower or "safer" fight you can also spam wave of conviction for additional single target ACENDANCY ORDER; (dps version) shaper of flames mastermind of discord shaper of storms (golem version) shaper of flames liege of the primordial elemenacer
