So with the new Flicker of Power Gem I was tempted to do a Build I last did in Crucible. CoC Flicker Strike Ice Nova. The damage was medium, the survivability pretty bad, and it was far more expensive than it had any right to be.
Well I am glad to say that this is totally still the case.

I spend probably around 600 divines overall on the build, that includes a few absolutly unnecessary expenses though like Awakened GMP, Awakened Multistrike, Awakened Coc level 6 and a LV. 4 enlighten. Those already are responsible for close to 200 divines of the budget without providing that much damage or survivability (Not sure how the third strike from Awakened Multistrike interacts with Cast on crit, my Triggerrate in PoB does not change with it compared to a normal one). I am also really unsure if Mageblood is actually the best belt for this build. While it is nice to get a lot of Movement speed from it with Flicker Strike that is not too useful. We also do not really need it to cap any res except Chaos Res.
The damage overall feels pretty good I would say. From a pure feeling higher than the 16 million sheet dps I have according to PoB. It probably helps that it requires no ramping like poison to actually deal your full damage. Also the fact that the Assassin ascendancy is doing work PoB does not represent.
The Survivability feels very iffy at the moment and I am not really sure how to fix it. Despite pretty decent max hits (~11k for phys, 14k for ele and 6k for Chaos without Molten Shell up) I get oneshot very often so far. Sometimes I get stuck on something and immediatly die. Often I do not really know what killed me.
If you have any ideas regarding more Survivability I would be glad to hear them. One thing I thought of was going for a CI version of the build, but that would probably come with a very hefty price regarding DPS.
