BOSSES FEAR THE SHIELD! - Shield Crush Gladiator Build Teaser - 3.15 League - Path of Exile

A few key points to be aware of with this build - Notes section in PoB:

Early leveling:

Initial skill to level with

• Ground Slam fromt he very start until you can get spectral shield throw; then level with spectral shield throw until you get to maps, this will be the quickest way to progress through the campaign and up to about about t5 maps. once you get past T5, switch into the shield crush skill and start working from there. If you take shield crush too early it will just be slow and clunky.

Gear to search for early in leveling -

• Magma Eclipse shield
• Prismatic Eclipse
• Look at to max out block as soon as you can
• Run Herald of Purity until you can getan amulet with a pride reservation reduction roll on it; then you will be able to run flesh and stone

Ascendencies in order:

1. Painforged
2. Versatile Combatant
3. Violent Retaliation
4. Arena Challenger

The main stats you will need you Jewels:

• Attack speed with Shields
• Max % life
• Dex and Int

Switching to Clusters:

• You will not be able to switch to the cluster jewel until you get a prismatic eclipse with a corrupted implicit 'resolute technique'

Can you run this setup with the other ascendencies?

• Yes; I checked, Slayer is even more DPS however you will lose the block defensive layer but have huge leech - give it a shot if you want to try something different

What content can this build do? Everything; so far I have worked through endgame unchallenged aside from the occasional death, it is even good with delving.

FUTURE UPGRADES:

• Better Chest with more HP
• Watchers Eye with additional impale rolls
