Use it on bosses throughout the campaign to take away aggro. I use this even in early maps if I get a dangerous map boss. Upgrades in Act 1. VERY IMPORTANT the rings and rustic sash give a big damage boost. At level 8 look to get a Longsword and craft with the essence you get from Dweller or gamble a two handed sword with the town vendor 2 x Iron Rings Rustic Sash Movement Speed Boots 3 Link - G-R-R or G-G-R If G-R-R links are: Frost Blades - Ancestral Call - Added Fire (Unsocket Ancestral Call at Brutus & Merveil and run Ruthless) If G-G-R links are: Frost Blades - Ancestral Call - Faster Attacks (Swap Ancestral Call for Added Fire for Bosses) Look for or buy from Vendor at level 8+: Jade Chopper/Long Sword/Bastard Sword Use Essence you get from killing dweller on the weapon or if you have found a blacksmiths whetstone sell the following to a vendor: Magic/Rare Rustic Sash + 1 Blacksmiths Whetstone + Two handed weapon Blacksmiths whetstones have a big effect early on as using just 1 will give early weapons 20% more physical damage Need Cold Resistance for Merveil. If you have not found a sapphire ring trade Iron ring + Blue Skill Gem (Buy From Nessa) and this will give you a sapphire ring If you are on a 2 link and bad weapon at brutus use Double Strike + Chance to Bleed which are the gems you start with at level 1 Prison take Leap Slam as your reward and buy Faster Attacks from Nessa. This will be your movement skill from now on. Link Momentum support when you have the sockets Pick up all Rare items and sell unidentified to a vendor if they cannot benefit you (wands, swords, energy shield gear, etc...) This will give you transmutation shards and we use a lot in the first 4 acts. You should be able to stop picking stuff up by end of Act 2 After this we are mainly after alterations to craft % phys on new weapons. These will drop and vendors provide shards for identified gear Act 2 (See skill tab for Gem Links) Look out for Pole Axe or Double Axe as a weapon upgrade When you kill feliditis in Chamber of Sins take Herald of Ash as you reward and buy Blood Rage. Equip both these gems when you hit level 16 When you pick up the mastery for +1 strike drop Ancestral Call and add in Ruthless (act 1 vendor). You get this gem as a reward from killing Weaver The fire mastery we take will proc thanks to Herald of Ash and Added Fire + the chance to ignite that we take in the same wheel. Go back to Act 1 and buy precision as your accuracy will start dropping below 100% chance to hit before we take the accuracy nodes The accuracy mastery will ensure that when we got precise technique in act 3 that we have no accuracy worries Take precise technique keystone before the life nodes underneath Bandits: Help Alira * You may need to pick up a Heavy belt to help with Strength for both the Axe and Herald of Fire and you may need a Lapis amulet to hit intelligence requirements (If not you can wait as you can take one as a reward from Dialla in Act 3) Act 3 (See skill tab for Gem Links) Start looking for a 4 link at level 25+. G-R-R-R. Spend your gold on Armour/Evasion Body Armours as 4 Links are pretty common Buy Hatred from Nessa after defeating Piety for the first time. Drop both Heralds and equip this. Make sure you still run Added Fire as this procs the ignite mastery Buy Punishment and use this on bosses when they reach 50% life Weapons from here on in will be rares that you find on the ground with flat added phsyical or % added physical. Where you do not have % added physical craft this using your bench First Lab take Bane of Legends Axes from here will start using more strength so feel free to take Beef for +30 Strength until we take more strength nodes on the tree Act 4 (See skill tab for Gem Links) At level 38 take Multistrike as a reward from Dialla in town and swap with Ruthless Act 6 onwards (See skill tab for Gem Links) Keep an eye on your accuracy and start using a low level preciison when you need more accuracy. You should be able to level one up to a high level since we only use 1 x 50% aura In Act 6 we remove the fire damage nodes and swap added fire for fortify. It is less damage but much better survivability Buy Flame Dash and replace Dash Buy Elemental Weakness and use on bosses and replace punishment Start looking for a 5 Link (Back Market from act 7 onwards is a good source or wait until maps when you will have more gold) Keep upgrading weapon as and when you can Buy inspiration, Assassins mark, Skitterbots, crit damage & ice bite from Nessa and level in off hand. Do not worry if you cannot level all the way we can finish the levelling later on In Act 7 when you get the flask reward take a jade flask then go back to Act 5 and take a granite flask as a reward from innocence quest Maps to Dagger Respec Look for upgrades as it should not be hard to better your campaign gear. Syndicate is a great way to get a weapon upgrade as we only really need a two handed axe to drop with a prefix to unveil and it is very likely to be 120%+ physical damage. You can then craft flat phys damage if it has another open prefix or attack speed as a suffix. Good movement speed boots are pretty common in syndicate too I use a combination of black market and syndicate to gear up (Black Market for 5 Link and general armour/evasion gear). An axe with 400-450 Physical DPS should be plenty You will enter maps at very low life but we do finally start taking some life nodes Dagger Respec You will be unlikely to have enough passive point respecs to do the entire tree so use Faustus when you run out. It costs around 2.5k gold per point at level 80. You should be at around mid to early tier yellow maps at this point Reroll flasks at this point to get good suffix (See items in POB) Check the gear in the POB for this point. If you can get similar gear this should be all you need to push your atlas. You will take deaths in hard maps but you will get so much xp per map that as long as you are not dying several times a map you will still level up quickly You need: Accuracy on a ring, Intelligence on a ring, life & resistances. If you are short on strength or intelligence path to a +30 node. We change a lot of gems around here so pay attention. Also remember to drop Precise technique. Our auras change from hatred to skitter bots linked to bonechill, Flesh & Stone & Precision. You should now be able to start levelling your precision up to around level 17 but keep an eye on Mana
