Wanting a good all-rounder for the the league i opted for a Explosive Arrow totem build. I choose champion instead of elementalist for the versatility and survivability.
It started off based on Zizaran's build, but has since deviated quite a bit. Much due to luck and messing about. This is lvl 99 now and this is more that I ever have done before. Could easily grind to 100 but .. why care.

Some highlights
30+ mill dps can do 10+ more easily with a few gem/flask swaps etc when needed.
75,75,77 res -2 chaos, 75 chaos over time
81% base movement speed without totems or flasks, 156% with all up
43k evasion, 36K armour, 100% spell supp

applies 4 curses to enemies
Sanctums are a walk in the park

Life is low on this version 4,7k but if you want more life and less of something else 6+ is no problem. At 99 I just don't care about dying now and then and just do stupid map mods and altars anyway.

So what's the twist?
​
A few things that might be of interest. First is the amulet. Why use a Carnage Heart on a totem build. (The leech does nothing).. well it har 4 anoints... jepps.. 4.
How and why. Most people know about Stranglegasp that allows 4 anoints.. So I started out with this one. But ... if you corrupt it it can go rare and keep the anoints. So I did this, mostly anything would be useful, except one thing... flat fire to attacks.. which cripples the build (Elemental Equilibrium). And I hit that one.. bah.. ok, tainted chaos orb for a reroll... boom .. all affixes removed... so no what, oh wait, tainted mythic orb either poofs the item or makes it into a unique (onyx amulet)... luck strikes, and the you go. Carnage heart sill has 49 to all attributes and 16 to all res. So welcome to the most unlikely and at first glance braindead choice for an amulet on a totem build.

Anathema is a cool ring that allows your curse limits to equal your max power charges. So, using bane as a pure delivery mechanism applies 4 curses to enemies. (+1 pc from anoint).
I am using flammability, elemental weakness, punishment and temp chains. (last one can be swapped for enfeeble if the target cannot be slowed).

The build uses 4 auras/res.
Grace, Determination, Haste and Defiance Banner.
Haste is quality of life and also gives attack speed which is importrant for this build.
Massive increase if you swap one for malevolence on hard boss fights.

.. on the pob, why Elemental Overload and 7% faster ignites? Sanctum relic. It might not be known to all but you can anoint keystones to a sanctified relic... and it's tradable, so I opted for Elemental Overload and saved quite a few travel points.

Things it is bad at... legions. The clear is not there. Delve ... to low chaos res.
Still if you want you can easily turn this into a VERY tanky build.
