Please rip this build to shreds and tell me this is shit but below is a PoB I threw together for an Ice Nova build using new Archmage in a 5link Pledge of Hands.

Gear is very, very basic and it seems fairly squish as a result but unless I'm missing something it seems like it should be pretty fun to lightning warp around, hitting ice nova and auto casting frost bolts and echoing more ice nova's for pretty good early mapping with minimal investment.
