I know I know, I'm still making builds. This one is special though! Scorching Ray Totems was something I didn't think was possible, but I PoB'd and PoB'd until my eyes were red and the sun came up. As it turns out, this build absolutely slaps. Insane cast speed on the totems allows for super quick damage ramp and wildly fast turn speed for the beam, which means the totems can sweep across packs and kill them in a smooth slapping motion.
Many tried to convince me that Scorching Ray can only have 1 applied to an enemy at a time, but this build is living proof that thats not true. Beyond 6 Scorching Ray totems, we use some fun Phantasmal Searing bond tech from my Holy Flame Totem build that allows us to get 15 totems (which is an absurd multiplier for life regen, mana regen and MORE damage for Hierophant). The build trivially keeps up perma RF for big damage.
Defensively, the build runs on 5k life, 1300 ES, 2300 life/ES recovery, a chunk of armour and molten shell, petrified blood/progenesis, and 47%/68% block and spell block. It tanks some serious hits and can recover with the best of em, provided your totems are down.
I had so much fun with this build killing bosses, Ubers, delving, and just blasting maps. The great news here is I'd say there is almost no chance of a nerf (progenesis could be on the chopping block but the build is plenty tanky without it). Hell, in most boss fights I forget to hit my flasks more than once anyway.
I hope you enjoy and if you're still playing 3.21, try this out. Thanks, and cheers!
