Hello, I've been working hard on a budget version of the popular splitting steel trickster. I've gotten some questions regarding budget about my previous build and I wanted to make it accessible for most people who are interested in trying it but don't have 100d+ to spend on a single item. Since mageblood is about 100d and this build is basically unplayable without full uptime on flasks IMO, the next best option was the Tides of Time belt which allows for pretty decent utility flask sustain to mimic having permaflasks. To be able to sustain so many charges this build grabs three of the flask wheels near pathfinder area + 3 flask charges/s from belt and + 1 flask charge from chest implicit (can be upgraded to 2 later). Approx 9-10 flask effect duration tattoos are also needed. Full spell suppression is achieved from tattoos as well; as a result this build is quite dex/str starved and my solution was to use a bunch of rare jewels with attributes. Other than these changes the build remains the same. Major pantheon will have to be brine king because we cannot reach full stun immunity through flask suffix alone. All in all, I think this build has acceptable performance for the budget and is a good choice for people looking for an all-rounder.
Total estimate budget: 115d
Upsides of this version: uses returning projectiles, so you don't need to hug the target for maximum damage, gear is reasonable to acquire for most people, quite tanky and can run most T17 mods (yes, even marked for death and no leech)
Downsides: much less damage than mageblood+nimis (about 5x), have to press Focus for maximum damage/defence, not the fastest mapper due to no quicksilver, this version cannot run reduced flask charges map mod

regarding the full dps calculation in pob: I'm not sure how to simulate the 60% less dmg of returning projectiles but I thought it was reasonable to set the count to 4 (8 projectile split from sniper's mark x 0.4 = 3.2 projectiles, rounded down to 3 projectiles. 3 projectiles + 1 from initial hit = 4)
actual pob used in video: https://pobb.in/YzuXvpcviiVR (as close as I could approximate to planned budget pob, in practicality it's identical - there were a couple things I didn't want to re-purchase just for this video such as 3 large clusters, new watchers eye, etc, but there is nothing in there that will mislead anyone)
Will be happy to answer any questions regarding this build or crafting help.
