Path of Building: https://pastebin.com/neawiym2
This build basically started as a meme idea of making totems with super long strike range because I thought it would be funny to see melee attacks whacking enemies from across the screen. It ended as a surprisingly effective build that smacks everything other than ubers very easily. Perhaps the biggest surprise is that the clear is pretty amazing despite essentially being basic attacks on totems.
We use the chieftain node combined with the new dawnstrider boots and panopticon to get the buff from our ancestral protector up to 70% more attack speed.
Atziri's Disfavour provides massive strike range, particularly when combined with an alt-quality ancestral call support.
In this case, I have a lifetap corruption on my disfavour, so I decided to just ignore mana and use lifetap on everything.
We use a skin of the lords to get Elemental Overload and a relic to get Ancestral Bond to save a ton of passive points so we can focus on damage nodes around the marauder and duelist areas. With 4 totems each attacking at nearly 8 APS, we very easily maintain elemental overload.
Damage is scaled further by using the Arn's anguish belt to turn our endurance charges into brutal charges. 10 brutal charges plus the 3% triple damage two-handed mastery give us a 33% chance to deal triple damage.
The build is quite susceptible to strong damage over time effects as our defenses hinge entirely on petrified blood plus 55k armour with molten shell.
