This is probably one of the best builds I've theorycrafted.
I wanted to make a hollow palm build and found an impale slayer build guide, but I don't have a duelist (standard) so I tried to make the build with another class (I don't have any marauder either). I decided to try assassin for crit but the dps with impale was capped at 1-2M dps. So I theorycrafted a poison version and oh boy was it better. Currently I have around 12M total dps (7M sirus) and at lvl100 around 15M total dps.

Pros:
- fairly easy to gear (mostly uniques)
- cyclone (smooth clearing)
- poison is fun
- good single dps
Cons:
- annoying to get res capped (mostly uniques... with 2 rare rings haha)
- squishy (3k hp, 54%/24% dodge with elusive, 50% evasion, fortify)
- few gem sockets

Possible upgrades:
- high res rings (currently I use 4 skill points to cap res) with either %dex and/or curse on hit despair
- brutal restraint with better nodes (currently have no good ones)
- there's probably a better body

Unfortunately I can't really play this build because poe lags too much and I just die which is no fun. I was able to full clear 1 t16 map without dying and have done several t16 bosses (no guardians, sirus, etc). The little I was able to play was really fun (except the lagging and dying part) and hope others will be able to enjoy this build!
Ps: if you try out the build, could you give me some feedback on how it manages with end-endgame bosses, cuz I wont be able to try...
