pantheon is arakaali/yugul for curse/reflect immunity and dot mitigation

fair warning: that's 22 million dps at level 100 with all of our temp buffs checked. unchecking flasks, vaal haste, ngamahu, and frenzy charges (since even with anomalous blood rage we're not hitting often enough to depend on it) it's a much more reasonable 8.3m dps, or 6.36m for a level 93 setup (dropping Relentless and Divine Judgment on the tree).

i had to recreate this pob since i'm already on to my next build using many of the same pieces, so if anything is out of place that's probably why.

i achieved 90 max fire res by:

  • taking 5% max res on tree (barbarism, soul of steel, prismatic skin)
  • getting 7% from a level 20 vaal impurity of fire with 25% inc aura effect in a +2 duration gem black sun crest (NEVER actually use the vaal part)
  • getting 2% from herald of ash buff effect rings (dropping increased fire damage which is actually a huge source of DPS, so these aren't very min/maxed - just cost effective)
  • and the last 1% from exarch influence on boots. note that this goes up to 2% which is reflected in the pob by dropping soul of steel, but it can potentially be really expensive to hit on an exceptional ember and then hit the orb of conflict, or twice on a grand (i blew a couple ex on it and came up short)

and we overcome the double whammy of melding + annihilating light chunking our resistances by simply stacking 2500+ omniscience. the 250+% elemental penetration is just a bonus.

cleared deathless: all 70+ quant invitations but the hidden and the feared, maven (took a couple tries), cortex, shaper, uber elder, all eldritch bosses, sirus

cleared: the hidden, the feared. did not have a chaos flask for the feared and chalupa was the only real threat so could definitely get there. more dmg would trivialize the hidden.

still weak to: chaos damage, phys degens, penetrating hits. corrupted blood is handled via mastery and bleed by flask. i have a poison flask as well. stretching the tree to Asylum + wearing an amethyst flask made a ton of difference vs chaos but saving those points and adding another large cluster with chaos res small clusters would probably be a more efficient solution. life total is just super low because of how much we're losing from strength and how tight our tree is stretched.

ultimately what i would probably change would be to add a rare helmet with double phys taken and a good life roll (maybe, depending on whether we can still naturally cap resistances without it), a better eater/exarch body armour with some max res and better rolls, a hunter and/or elder belt with gobs of life and attributes, and fire damage on our rings instead of max res. t1 life on the boots as well could probably get us to 5k which would be plenty and maybe we could squeeze more damage out of the tree. 1-2 t1 chaos res suffixes instead of attributes would be very nice to have as well. build could maybe push 30m burst dps or 5k+ life/50+ chaos res but i doubt it can do both.

final tally: 72% phys taken as element with taste of hate. not great, not terrible. build is shockingly flexible - you can add headhunter/mageblood/asenath with basically zero modifications.

glacial cascade with cold to fire is another skill option but the deadzone feels super bad for selfcasting without a decoy totem or something. actually, that would have been really good tech for the brutal charge version of the build, to take the totem ascendency. i wasn't using herald of purity either with GC and it would have certainly helped. sadly the staff won't work with pure phys spells or i'd definitely keep the EK/tornado combo going.

ultimately it's the most balanced 90/90/90 build i've played of various aura-centric builds in the past, largely due to its low life total and having too many good choices on the tree to take them all.

i'm on to another flavor of omniscience. definitely abusing spark for more tornado shenanigans; currently trying to decide between annihilating light non-crit lucky ascendant and cold conversion nebulis assassin. lots of decisions to make on these trees!
