Gave LC a go a month into the league and loved it. I decided I want to make my own version of the build and so I started to mix and match tech I liked from different builds. This is my first time actually designing a build myself (as in not following a specific guide). And this is where I currently stand:

When designing the build there were a few goals I was aiming for. I really wanted this build to be a good all-arounder and I feel like in the current state it's pretty good. I also wanted it to have good defensive layers. This is where I was struggling a bit because defenses in PoE are pretty complex. That said, here are some bullet points for the build:

• 10.6m DPS (12.9m with flasks)
• 5.3k hp
• 11.8k Evasion / 59% Evade chance
• 15.9k Armour / 67% reduction (27k / 79% with flasks)
• 75/75/-200/84 resists
• Divine Flesh
• 50% Block / 45% Spell block (62% / 51% with flasks)
• 100% Spell suppression

With my current build I have been able to kill Uber Sirius and Uber Shaper (though both of these required 4 portals each). I haven't tried any of the other ones.

What am I looking to improve? I'd like to squeeze more damage out of this build, however I'm running out of ideas how to do so. I can only think of getting a +2/+4 amulet, a better wand and a better watcher's eye (still running my old 1 mod watcher currently). Furthermore I'd like to "fix" my defenses. Even with what I currently have I still find myself dying quite alot. I understand that Doryani's does that but lightning DoT isn't a build killer currently. I can comfortably tank Mana Siphoners enough to kill them and have enough time to dash out of a Shaper beam.

As I said, this is my first time making an actual full on build so any and all suggestions/criticisms are welcome.

As a side note, I've noticed in poe ninja that quite alot of people are running Controlled Destruction, Spell Echo and Concentrated Effect gems. It was my understanding that none of these work. Are those builds just fake damage?
