As expected, mapping is slower post-nerfs but still working very well at league-start.
Cold DoT Trickster was never meant to be an end-game build, and it still isn't. Very good for farming currency for a second build or a Shadow respec since the gear requirements to run alched T16s with some juice (not 60% deli okay...) are very low.
If you want to push Cold DoT into juiced content, such as 80% deli, you need to run Elementalist. But do take note that mapping is not as smooth post-Vortex nerfs.
