I was taking a look at the new skill gem Pyroclast Mine of Sabotage and thinking of ways to utilise that huge flat added fire damage from the mine aura. I wanted something that hit often but required minimal input from me so I could focus on throwing mines.
https://pobb.in/PtXz93WjKdSQ my character if it had lived to level 90.
I settled on trying the AW minions from Chains of Command, utilising the Rakiata's Dance Greatsword for the elemental resist inversion. I got the character to level 80, but was a little confused about how little damage I seemed to be doing, compared to the 10-20 million DPS POB suggested I could hit.
Clearing yellow maps was a breeze, unless I added wisps into the equation, then some rares would take over 10 seconds to kill. Finally, I ran into a rare that would just kill all of my AW minions and me in seconds, who took a few portals to deal with. Then, on the same map I tried a ritual in which my AG was somehow killed, with 167k EHP and 1k recovery.
I couldn't be bothered buying all of his gear again, so I left the build in the dust. Was I missing something, or is the league mechanic just too rippy to comfortably run an AG?
