Why can I use Vaal Discipline?

Most players use Eternal Youth to deal with the issue of Elixir turning off RF.

But I use the Flask Mastery “Recover 4% of Life when you use a Flask,”

which allows me to still use Vaal Discipline, and it makes a huge difference for survivability.

Without this setup, you’ll usually die when using Vaal RF —

and if you’ve ever died from it, you know exactly what I’m talking about.
