Full Phys Impale Glad ~ 70 mil dps ~ 30c sword ~ Leaguestarter ~ no t0/t1 uniques

Are you sick of seeing LS, Archmage, Power Siphon, Ralakesh? For the upcoming league I have made a simple, cheap and effective Gigachad Gladiator build/Leaguestarter. The build makes perfect use of the gladiator ascendancy Weapon Master with Dual Strike of Ambidexterity. This build revolves around full block, full phys and impale. It is also a great Leaguestarter and can clear all content in the game with mediocore investment (NO T0/T1 uniques).

What uniques do I need to play this? Technically none, but this will help your dps a lot:

Paradoxica (% Phys/impale chance, Crit chance): Bought mine for 30c and after a week still 50c (Pohx private league). These stats are very unpopular due to no atkspd and current state of impale.

Brightbeak: 1c

Recommended Uniques:

Ryslatha's Coil: 1-2 Divine, it is a T1 unique, but not necessary to play the build

Watcher's Eye (Impale last 2 additional hits): Not commonly sought after nowadays

Thread of Hope (Very Large): Expensive, but can be farmed yourself

What are your offenses (No POB warrior):

2-10 milion dps with a budget version (6L + 1-3d)

20-70 milion dps for a medium budget (Thread of Hope, Watcher's eye, Ryslatha's)

100 milion+ with Master of Steel (Forbidden Flame/Flesh), Vulnerability (Second Curse) and Mageblood

What are your defenses:

Max Block (88/88) if blocked recently

100% Spell Suppress

Ailment Immunity

Overleech

3 Min Endurance Charges

Fortify

20% Instant leech/Life gain on hit

Decent Lifepool of 4-5k
High effective hit pool

What are your weaknesses:

Low Max Hit

Even though we have phys explosions, still the biggest downside is clear speed. It can be overcome by a gem swap using Ancestral Call support or mapping in dense maps like toxic sewers / t17 maps.

Spells which cannot be blocked or suppressed are deadly. You can facetank uber shaper balls, but you cannot tank the beam or uber exarch ball phase. Build is very strong against hits, but weak against big dots.

Why no Mageblood or Replica Alberon:

Both of these items are expensive. Replica Alberon scales better due to having a higher life pool with strength. However, you will need other expensive items such as simplex, stat rings, str cluster jewels. Mageblood would be insane as with almost every build :P

Can I play this in Hardcore or SSF?

Yes to SSF, just need Paradoxica. Also farmed most of the items in Pohx league myself except for the Watcher's Eye. For Hardcore you can skill more defensively with more life and max res. Damage should certainly be enough, but this build is not made for HC bossing, due to low max hit pool.

PS: DO NOT buy away my paradoxica next league. Also, if there is a similar build posted, apologies! To clarify what I meant is this build can be played as a Leaguestarter. What I thought is obvious, is that this pob I posted is not the gear you can obtain after campaign easily. What I did mention though is:

It is my mistake I did not mention the pob/progress I made throught the private league with this character.

Until then you can use any high phys weapon for example ahns might, which is a dps loss of 30%.

Also you can leaguestart with almost any skill. You can try out other skills to leaguestart and have some fun
