PROS:
+ fast & fun, top tier clear
+ offscreen clear
+ easy crit-cap without flasks or any conditional ressources
+ can be played as 1-button-build if you want
+ optional: explosions
+ can be further upgraded if you want
CONS:
- late game gear/version, no budget version (as it requires Forbidden jewels but also not too hard to gear)
- need levels (be in your 90s before you start/play juiced endgame content!)
- not uber-viable (defence just isn't there)
- evasion/dodge playstyle is not for everyone, especially in melee-range (yes, you will die sometimes when running juiced endgame content but I wouldn't say it's a glass cannon build!)
Note:
- This build's strength is blasting maps. Bosses can be easily done but single target damage in general depends a bit on your returning projectiles (50% chance to return)
- Juiced Nightmare maps are farmable if you don't care about the bosses
Edit: I saw afterwards that the price for the foulborn version of Ancestral Vision skyrocketed. Just get suppression on any gear piece or a higher roll on gloves and you're good.
PoB Numbers:
I keep it simple and realistic which means I'm not baiting you.
- Defences:
As said before, we're evasion-based. This is why we invest a lot in life, so we don't get one-tapped all the time. I didn't activate conditional stuff like Flasks, Immortal Call, Golem buffs or Consecrated Ground. Nevertheless: big phys hits = big ouch
- Movement Speed:
The shown value is WHILE channeling Cyclone (20% less penalty) without Aspect of the Avian buff or any flasks. Onslaught (permanent while damaging) and Elusive are activated.
- Offence:
the total amound of projectiles, damage from returning projectiles, double damage chance and shocks are NOT calculated. Withered stacks are set to 9 (coming from Withering Step), but you can get up to 15 easily on single targets.

>>>>> MOST IMPORTANT <<<<<
Stats you need to check:
- 100% crit chance --> check tooltip while in combat (power charges aren't shown in hideout)
- max. APS: 7.57 (get as close as possible) --> Check tooltip while in combat (Onslaught isn't shown in hideout)
- 100% hit chance/accuracy rating --> the accuracy mastery for close range isn't shown in hideout
- 100% suppression chance
- cooldown recovery rate needs to be at least 14% (max 51%)
- you'll need some Str on any gear piece to be able to use Empower (depending on amulet roll). This is easiest to get on jewels or the res ring (or spend one passive to get +30 Str)
Breakpoints Source:
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Cast_On_Critical_Strike_Support
>>>>> MAP MODS TO AVOID <<<<<
Don't play:
- reduced cooldown recovery
- less life/ES recovery (with increased map mod effect) -> this disables any recovery (regen, recharge, leech, flasks)
Playable but be aware:
These mods affect your hit chance, crit chance, trigger rate or destroy defences (especially with increased map mod effect):
- monsters steal charges
- less accuracy
- reduced aura effect
- temporal chains
- reduced suppressed spell damage prevention
- reduced max res
Cannot Leech, cannot regen and reflect are no problem.
>>>>> SOULREND OF THE SPIRAL / PLAYSTYLE <<<<<
- fires 5 projectiles in a circle, which we increase to 9 default projectiles with GMP (and more with Sniper's Mark)
- pierce all targets
- automatically searches for enemies -> this allows us to use Saboteur's 'Shrapnel Specialist' for returning projectiles
- projectiles behave in the following order: split (Sniper's Mark) -> pierce -> fork -> chain -> return
- with a trigger rate of 7.5/sec. we have a LOT of projectiles
- you do nothing but cruising/blinking around, dodging and sometimes activate a Vaal skill
>>>>> TRIGGER/ATTACK RATE <<<<<
- your max. APS needs to be lower than 7.57 (get as close as possible)
- it sometimes happens that APS in PoB and the actual in game value don't match, so rather check your in game APS (and adapt if needed)
- for balancing see "Other Infos & Tips" further below
In this reddit thread one of the PoB creators comments on the different APS:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/1py4tcc/need_help_with_my_coc_why_is_aps_showing/
>>>>> CRIT CAPPING <<<<<
- Assassin's 'Mystical Infusion' equals our spell crit to our local weapon crit chance which means we want as much crit chance as possible on our weapon to cap both easily
- you need the exact same amount of crit chance for both attacks and spells; so we only use global crit chance modifiers
- for your weapon base, you choose a Rune Dagger with 9% base crit (and 1.2 APS)
- you absolutely want a max-rolled T1 crit mod on it and also the harvest weapon enchant for crit chance per quality
>>>>> COOLDOWN <<<<<
- We need at least 14% (which you can easily get on a belt)
- Alternative 1: craft 12% on the belt and get the remaining 2% elsewhere. Either from an abyss jewel, use Dextral Catalysts or eldritch implicit on boots (no more elemental ailment immune!)
> not ideal because you can't craft the ES regen mod on the belt
- Alternative 2: Bound by Destiny jewel with 2 shaper items equipped (but this is imo only worth it if you go for more than 1 mod)
(- Note: the new cooldown gem is exceptional which means you can't infuse it)
>>>>> SUPPRESSION & ELEMENTAL AVOIDANCE <<<<<
- You need a minimum of 100% suppression chance to achieve elemental ailment immunity.
- Using Ancestral Vision, 50% avoidance comes from suppression, the other 50% from boots.
- If you use the Foulborn version and also a Watcher's Eye, you won't need a single suppression suffix on your gear.
>>>>> DEFENCES <<<<<
- 100% Spell Suppression
- High Evade Chance (~70-75% without flasks, blind or Vaal Grace)
- 100% Elemental Ailment Avoidance
- High Chaos Res
- High Life
- Elusive with increased effect (~30% damage avoidance at highest)
- ~50% attack block chance (+ Rumi's)
- Immortal Call
- Crit Immunity
- Soul of Lunaris for projectile avoidance + extra movement speed
- Soul of Ralakesh: reduced phys DoT damage taken + no extra damage from bleeding
- Movement Speed
- Life Recovery: life on kill & Feast of Flesh
- Consecrated Ground (life reg)
- Lethe Shade
If you want to invest more into defences, you can:
- run Flesh & Stone (instead of an Aspect)
- get endurance charges on kill (ring or anoint Aggressive Bastion)
- invest more in block (jewels, clusters)
- get Wind Dancer
- grab a few more life nodes
- change your shield: instead of aura effect, you can get either life on block (warlord) or chance to avoid phys hits (redeemer) + anoint Aspect of Stone (total 30% chance to avoid phys damage from hits)
- get life leech (Watcher's Eye / eldritch glove implicit)
- use Cyclone with Lv 1 'Infused Channeling' infusion
- high budget: Progenesis
>>>>> LETHE SHADE <<<<<
- Lethe Shade is pretty good for bossing/single targets as some like Maven have a lot of ground degens and we need to stay close all the time.
- We only need to care about bleed and poison as we're elemental ailment immune
- For bleed: get corrupted blood immunity from a jewel and take Ralakesh Pantheon
- For poison: get high chaos and poison immunity on your life flask and you're good
>>>>> STUN AVOIDANCE <<<<<
- As we invest a lot in damage avoidance, we don't really need to care much about this
- The Corundum Flask is more than enough for this. If you feel like you still get stunned a lot, roll stun avoidance on it
- Additional option: take evasion mastery
>>>>> ACCURACY <<<<<
- No stat we really care about or need to check thanks to Precision and the Accuracy Mastery. Even without the mastery, you'll almost be at cap.
- Don't use the 'hits can't be evaded' weapon craft. Because a) it's a prefix (makes crafting really hard) b) locks you out of crafting any other mod c) disabling Precision makes you lose over 100% crit chance (we have a lot of aura effect)
>>>>> ELUSIVE <<<<<
- by default grants 30% MS + 15% damage avoidance (decays over time)
- we get 100% increased effect from ascendancy and another 40% from Withering Step
- increased effect scales both the bonus and duration (longer uptime)
- Anointing 'Incorporeal' reduces the decay by 50% and removes elusive completely at 20% effect
>>>>> DOUBLE DAMAGE <<<<<
- coming from Aspect of the Avian
- can also be crafted/unveiled on weapon or shield
(- other sources: crit cluster or Lethal Pride Timeless Jewel)
>>>>> SKILL TREE/PASSIVES <<<<<
- tree is opted for Lv 98 -> path to 'Throatseeker' and 'Lethe Shade' last
- 1 point can be saved in the radius of 'The Light of Meaning' jewel: respec the small life and dex node and only take the single dex node a little bit further down (for example if you want to change bandit)
Optional: if you want to go higher than 98 or make any changes, here are a few options:
- ES mastery (regen)
- Evasion mastery (movement speed, stuns or evasion from body armour)
- Mark mastery (blind or transfer)
- Aura Mastery (damage)
- get Wind Dancer keystone (need to relocate Timeless Jewel)
- get Ghost Dance keystone
- get 'Corruption' for increased wither effect (in the chaos cluster top left)
- path to 'Heart of Oak' (or get any other small life nodes)
>>>>> DEALING WITH MANA / ES COST <<<<<
- Mana cost are very high due to the trigger rate
- we use energy shield instead of mana via Eldritch Battery / The Devouring Diadem because it's simply not possible to have that much mana regen without investing a ton. This also allows us to fully use up our mana
- this means all your gear will be hybrid Evasion/ES-based
- the high cost are mostly problematic at single targets. While mapping we have Feast of Flesh and flat ES on kill
- Feast of Flesh will also be triggered during boss fights without adds. To achieve this, we have two Desecrate-setups (wand trigger + CWDT). Not the most reliable sources of recovery but still nice to have (also for life recovery)
- to lower mana cost, we get % reduction on both rings, Tireless (Anointment), 10% from the mana mastery and also use a ***Timeless Jewel***
- besides the base recharge rate (~300/sec), we also craft ES regen on the body armour and belt, so in total we'll have around 600-700 regen/sec. Energy shield recharge is not interrupted unless you take damage to mana or ES.
- According to the description of Soulrend of the Spiral it should have built-in ES leech but there are no numbers stated on the gem. Normal Soulrend's leech value is 4%, so I'm assuming it's the same for the transfigured version.
Anyways, ES leech is no significant stat or game changer. It's also not worth investing more in leech (like instant recovery or increased values per second/maximum). I tried this but it didn't make much of a difference.
***Timeless Jewel*** - Militant Faith: Make sure no passives get changed. Get one with cost reduction & aura effect per 10 devotion (alternatively resistances). Conqueror: Dominus (for Inner Conviction keystone)
Jewel slot: you can check all 3 jewel slots on the right side - doesn't really matter if you have 100 or 130 Devotion
Important: Don't take the Ghost Reaver keystone (disables recharge)!
Options for more cost reduction / recovery:
- Impossible Escape (around Glancing Blows): take the life/cost reduction nodes >> requires a jewel slot and 4 passive points but can anoint something else
- 'Ghost Dance' keystone (unreliable source as it requires you to get hit)
- ES Mastery for 2% regen/sec.
>>>>> GEM INFUSIONS <<<<<
- you only can get 1 infusion on Cyclone or Soulrend
- Infusing Soulrend only increases mana cost even more
- I tried different infusion setups and the best option is getting 'Level 1 Withering Touch' on your Cyclone and rather use a 21/20 Soulrend gem (which damage-wise is almost the same as having Lv 1 Void Manipulation or Power Charge on Crit)
- it's also much easier and cheaper to hit the infusion on Cylone as you don't need quality on it
- Alternative (green) Cylone infusion options: Blind, Culling Strike, Faster Attacks (careful with max APS)
- If you want some damage reduction, you could also infuse Cyclone with Infused Channeling (blue)
Note:
- Nightblade doesn't work with spells
- Inspiration on Soulrend does basically nothing but lowering the cost (but at at the same time increasing it with a cost multiplier)
- Don't infuse Cyclone with Cast on Crit (higher damage penalty)
- The new cooldown gem is exceptional (can't infuse)
- You don't need quality on Soulrend. That makes it cheaper getting a Lv 21 (but can add qual if you want to resell)
>>>>> GEM SETUP / AURAS <<<<<
- You can use Void Manipulation until you have an Empower Level 4
- You don't need quality on Soulrend. That makes it cheaper getting a Lv 21 (but can add qual if you want to resell)
- All 50% auras go into the helmet
- Be careful with where you socket which skill/support -> depends on what gear piece you craft the Aspect. Some supports (like More Duration) can increase its reservation
- Frostblink as movement skill
- Can also use Aspect of the Spider instead of Avian if you want
- Vaal Lightning Trap is an optional single target boost
- In total you'd have 4 buttons: Cyclone, Vaal Grace, Vaal Lightning Trap, Movement Skill
Information about the Movement Skill & Triggered Spells (from weapon): see further below!
Important: DON'T use Vaal Haste!
>>>>> MANA RESERVATION <<<<<
I have 1x mana reservation efficiency on a jewel to be able to activate all auras.
If you're missing some mana or struggle with reservation, here are some temporary solutions:
- skip Aspect (just don't activate for now)
- lower the level of Precision
- use a 2nd Enlighten
- change Mana Mastery to reservation efficiency
- anoint 'Sovereignity'
- get reservation efficiency on jewels (either as mod or corruption)
- use a Ventor's Gamble (as res ring)
>>>>> CURSE/MARK - SNIPER'S VS ASSASSIN'S MARK <<<<<
Mark:
- Assassin's Mark adds nothing but crit multi while Sniper's Mark gives us damage + extra projectiles, so we're using that one
- This is why we also don't take 'Deathmarked' (ascendancy)
- Mark on Hit reduces the mark's effect (15% at gem Lv 21/20) which means we lose 1 projectile from split
- this can be countered by either anointing 'Expert Hunter' or get Oshabi Bloodline (The Vivid Cat) for ascendancy points 7+8
- there's also another option when min-maxing gear with tattoos (see "Further Upgrades" below)
Curse:
- we don't use/need additional curses like Despair to lower resistances
- Pinnacle bosses have around 30% chaos res and we already have 22% chaos res pen
- Only downside are maps with additional monster chaos res or the exarch altar mod
>>>>> ASCENDANCY <<<<<
1) Unstable Infusion
2) Mystical Infusion
3) Mistwalker
4) EITHER Assassination Style - For the Jugular (+100% crit multi against enemies not on low life (>50% HP) + Culling Strike)
OR Oshabi Bloodline - The Vivid Cat (50% mark effect) -> this brings your Sniper's Mark back to 2 projectiles
>>>>> PANTHEON <<<<<
Depends on what you prefer/play:
- Lunaris (speed/avoidance) / Ralakesh (bleed) is my go-to
- Ryslatha (flask charges) is good for bossing and against regen
- Arakaali (DoT) / Abberath (burning ground) against DoTs
>>>>> BANDITS <<<<<
- whatever you need - extra skill point, resistances or movement speed
>>>>> TATTOOS & RUNEGRAFTS <<<<<
Tattoos:
- Use 1-2x Chance To Blind tattoos (Tasalio Warrior)
- I didn't include any other tattoos -> see "Further Upgrades" below for more upgrades and min-maxing information/options
Runegrafts:
- None needed, optionally you can use 'Runegraft of the Fortress' if you can handle attributes
>>>>> INFORMATION ABOUT GEAR <<<<<
- The gear used is nothing too crazy. I'm just covering the most important stuff here so you know what you need to pay attention to.
- You don't need the exact same gear. Can for example also get a body armour with high suppression but will be much more expensive.
- It's always the easiest/fastest to just buy it (but if you're on console like me you most likely need to craft everything by yourself)
- Detailed Crafting Guide can be found below!
- You'll need some Str on any gear piece to be able to use Empower (depending on amulet roll). This is easiest to get on jewels or the res ring (or spend one passive to get +30 Str)
- For the Aspect beast-craft: one of your gear pieces needs an open suffix. Best option would be crafting it on your shield but this needs a little bit of luck with the Awakener Orb. If there's no room on the shield, craft it on the belt, gloves or onslaught ring
- Prioritize high life
- Get the res ring last so you know what stats you're missing
- If you struggle with getting resistances or suppression capped, you can skip the crit multi mod on the onslaught ring for one more free suffix
Base Gear:
> Weapon: Rune Dagger with 9% base crit chance (1.2 APS), 50% crit implicit, max-rolled T1 crit chance mod, harvest weapon enchant for crit chance per quality. Need one open suffix.
> Shield: get an Evasion/ES suppression base. Needs Hunter or Shaper influence for reservation efficiency (Hunter also can roll %life). For your second influence mod (Awakener Orb), you can take either aura effect or phys avoidance (both Redeemer) or %life on block (Crusader or Shaper).
> Helmet - Devouring Diadem: unveiled +2 to socketed gems (for your Enlighten). Corruptions: +2 AoE, Aura or Duration (if Duration: you need to socket the Vaal variants of the gems but don't use Vaal Haste!) // Alternatively (may be more expensive): %life, +1 power charge, 90% reservation multiplier
> Body Armour: Necrotic Armour with as much Evasion/ES as possible. Make sure there's no life roll. Need one open suffix.
> Gloves: Phantom Mitts, prio on high life
> Boots: Phantom Boots, prio on high life + MS. Need one open suffix.
> Amulet - Replica Dragonfang: prio on high reservation efficiency
> Rare synthesised Onslaught on Hit ring - base doesn't matter
> Belt: Cord Belt, needs high life, cooldown recovery and crafted ES regen
Jewels:
> Rare Base Jewels: on one of them you want Corruped Blood immunity. Get any other stats you need (like attack speed, reservation efficiency, strength, res). After that, focus on: %life, global crit multi, crit multi for spells, %block chance while holding a shield
> Cluster Jewels: get 'Touch of Cruelty' and 'Unholy Grace' on both. Make sure both notables are on the front side before the jewel sockets. You can start with cheaper clusters and get the right ones later but need to get attack speed elsewhere.
> The Light of Meaning: can get one with any usable corruption
> Militant Faith: Make sure no passives get changed. Get one with cost reduction & aura effect per 10 devotion (alternatively resistances). Conqueror: Dominus (for Inner Conviction keystone)
> Watcher's Eye: best mods: suppression (Grace) + Crit Multi (Precision) // Other worthy mods: evade chance or movement speed (Grace), suppression (Haste), attack speed (Precision), life leech (Vitality), enemies take increased damage (Zealotry)
Flasks:
> can also get stun avoidance on your Corundum Flask (if you feel like you get stunned a lot)
> get 'reduced flask charges per use' on your life flask
> Unique options (instead of Rumi's): Dying Sun, Bottled Faith, Progenesis, Oriath's End
>>>>> TRIGGERED SPELLS (FROM WEAPON) <<<<<
- channeling Cyclone doesn't count as 'use a skill' (only when you start channeling). For triggering, we use Frostblink.
- Frostblink is an instant skill and can be used while channeling to trigger the spells, so use it as often as you can especially at single targets (it also leaves chilled ground)
- we also run Withering Step. Frostblink and Withering Step share the same cooldown, so don't wonder if you sometimes can't use it. Frostblink has high cooldown recovery around rare/unique mobs, so no issues while in combat
- the trigger-mod on the weapon puts individual cooldowns on each socketed spell, meaning if "skill 1" is on cooldown it will trigger "skill 2" (it doesn't trigger all at once and then go on cooldown). So it actually matters in which order you put the gems in the sockets (trigger order: top to bottom)
- you can use any spell for debuffs you like, just make sure it really is a spell. As for the golems: don't use Ice or Lightning golem (which increase attack speed and crit). Additional info: Sigil of Power won't get stages from spending ES, so you can't get the damage reduction bonus from it
- the trigger-mod isn't necessarily needed but is a huge QoL. You could also craft double damage (or something you need) instead and use the free sockets to run a separate Vaal Grace with More Duration, get supports (blind, culling) for Frostblink or anything you want. You can also use any other movement skill you like
>>>>> ANOINTMENT <<<<<
- 1: Force of Darkness (for Pen) - Prismatic, Opal, Opal
- 2: Recommendation: Tireless (3x Opal) but you could also get one of those:
- Incorporeal (Elusive reduces effect 50% slower, is removed at 20% effect)
- From The Shadows (12% atk speed with daggers, 40% elusive effect)
- Aspect of Stone (20% chance to avoid phys hits)
- Arcane Potency (30% crit multi) or Assassination (25% multi + crit chance)
- Overcharge (+1 power charge)
- Aggressive Bastion (atk block chance, endurance on kill)
- Harrier (attack speed, movement speed)
- Expert Hunter (20% increased mark effect)
>>>>> OTHER INFOS & TIPS <<<<<
Balancing resistances:
- Can get resistances from Alira, jewels, cluster jewels, Timeless Jewel, Tattoos
- Eldritch implicits: exarch on boots (instead of action speed) or elemental res (exarch on body armour, instead of block)
- Swap resistances via harvest bench
- you can also skip crit multi on the onslaught ring and get resistances instead
Balancing attack speed:
- Can also take the other 3 accuracy nodes for attack speed (instead of crit)
- Attack speed on jewels or glove implicit (also craftable on gloves)
- Attack speed from Watcher's Eye (Precision)
- Playing around with aura effect nodes / implicit (can for example also get spell crit multi on body armour instead of aura effect)
- Replace action speed on boots for movement speed
- 'Faster Attacks' Infusion on Cyclone
- Attack Speed anoint (like Harrier or From The Shadows)
General Tips:
- if you have leech on a Watcher's Eye it's worth taking in Vitality (can reserve life and run Lv 1)
- can't use the 15% suppress evasion mastery because of the helmet
- careful when playing with friends or running shrines/ritual because of the action speed increase. Also: No Vaal Haste or Headhunter
- if you run bosses, use Ryslatha Pantheon to get back flask charges (we don't have much life regen / leech at single targets)
- single target damage in general depends a bit on your returning projectiles (until you run Nimis version)
- for bossing you can also replace the Corundum Flask for something else
- You don't need quality on Soulrend. That makes it cheaper getting a Lv 21 (but can add qual if you want to resell)
- if you struggle with getting resistances or suppression capped, you can skip the crit multi mod on the onslaught ring for one more free suffix
- medium and small clusters aren't really worth it for this build (unless you need something specific like suppress, block or reservation efficiency)
>>>>> OPTIONAL: EXPLO SETUP <<<<<
- get cluster jewels with 'Unspeakable Gifts'
- only do this if both clusters have that mod to have a decent explo chance
- you need to replace 'Unholy Grace' as both are suffixes
- this means you'll be missing 20% attack speed which you have to get elsewhere (see tips above)
- alternatively: respec 'Inner Conviction' + 'Lethe Shade' and get both +1 max frenzy charge nodes (for a total of 5 = 20% attack speed)
- frenzy charge generation: either mark mastery (10% on hit) or eldritch body armour implicit 'frenzy charge every X seconds'
- for better uptime you can also get the charge mastery (duration) or 'on kill' on a ring (but this usually isn't needed)
- other ways of generation: redeemer body armour mod, Timeless Jewel notable (Elegant Hubris), Cold Snap (triggered via wand)
Note: If you respec 'Inner Conviction', you can use jewels with any other Conqueror as the keystone doesn't matter
>>>>> FURTHER UPGRADES / LATEGAME OPTIONS / CHASE ITEMS <<<<<
Nimis:
- Basically doubles your returning projectiles and therefore damage
- Also gives a good amount of Dex (more tattoos)
- Can replace the Shrapnel Specialist Forbidden Jewels and either use two high crit-multi jewels or get another pair of Forbidden Jewels.
- 'Opportunistic' is pretty nice but there also are some good trickster nodes. If you keep 'For The Jugular', you can also skill Opportunistic and respec Mistwalker or Mystical Infusion and search those as jewels
Progenesis:
- Pretty strong defence option against hit-based damage
- Replace Rumi's Concotion for it
Weapon Upgrade:
- a weapon upgrade would be a +2 rune dagger with high spell damage, and unveiled crit multi or double damage
- will be expensive to craft (need a fractured +1 to all spells base)
- another option is getting a weapon with 'hits can't be evaded' to save some reserved mana and passive points. But tbh, I'm not sure if it's worth it as you have to compensate a lot of crit chance from Precision, lose one weapon prefix and also can't craft the trigger mod
Tattoos:
- You can use up all your spare attributes
- Depending where you put the Timeless Jewel, you'll have a different amount of Dex or Int
- If you already have your final gear (or are about to finish), you can take tattoos into account to min-max resistances
- Using suppression tattoos allows you to replace the suppression glove implicit. You can get Mark Effect, Blind Effect, Wither Duration, Maim on hit or Life Leech instead
- Usable Int Tattoos: Chaos Res, Lightning Res, Chaos Damage, Reduced Curse Effect
- Usable Dex Tattoos: Suppression, Cold Res, Movement Speed, Mark Effect
- Str Tattoos: None, need the Str
Extra Sniper's Mark Projectile:
- Mark on Hit reduces the mark's effect (15% at gem Lv 21/20) which means we lose 1 projectile from split
- Use suppression tattoos to get it capped and replace the glove implicit for 11% mark effect (Grand Ichor)
- Use 1x Tattoo of the Tasalio Scout (4% mark effect) to get even
- get Oshabi Bloodline and spec into 'The Vivid Cat' for 50% mark effect to get an additional projectile
Min-maxed Nimis PoB (example):
This is what my character currently looks like (except for the weapon and Progenesis):
https://pobb.in/Ve9YsldbOe4P
- Changes I made: highest DPS weapon, Nimis, Progenesis, Bandit: Alira, Forbidden Jewels: Mistwalker (respecced Mistwalker and skilled Opportunistic instead), lowered the level of Precision to run all auras (make sure you're still crit-capped), got 2x suppress + 1x mark effect tattoos and changed glove implicit to mark effect
- For resistances you need to play a bit around (depends on gear/tattoos). A lot of extra chaos res comes from the golem and Progenesis (~50%)
- The total amount of tattoos you can use depends a bit on your amulet roll (reduced attribute requirements) and the dex-roll on Nimis
- For the int tattoos I used 'reduced curse effect' to get immunity in combination with the flask
>>>>> CRAFTING <<<<<
- I'm not a fan of recombs, so I skip this "method"
- You can swap elemental resistances via harvest bench
- To get one high rolled eldritch implicit: don't spam high tier Ichors/Embers. Instead use lesser or greater to roll the mod you want, then use a grand or exceptional to craft any of the other and use Orb of Conflict to increase the tier of the mod you want and repeat (use grand/exceptional again). When done, craft the other.
- Start with the shield and belt craft as those are the ones you have the least impact on during the crafting process
- For the beast-crafted Aspect: if you have an open suffix on the shield, craft it on the shield. If shield suffixes are full, craft it on the belt (makes the craft much easier). If your belt is already good, craft it on the gloves or onslaught ring
- Get the res ring last so you know what stats you're missing
Rune Dagger:
Get fractured base with +1 chaos spells, iLv 80+ with 50% crit implicit, 9% base crit and 1.2 APS
Also check for 24%+ quality (otherwise qual up to 20%)
Prefixes: use Woe essences until you hit hybrid spell/mana
Suffixes: craft 'prefixes cannot be changed', harvest reforge crit until you hit T1 crit chance, craft 'prefixes cannot be changed' and use a Veiled Exalt and hope to hit the crafted mod
If you do, craft any damage over time mod and unveil either double damage or crit multi, craft trigger mod
More Budget friendly: only harvest reforge for T1 crit and skip unveiling. Craft crit multi, double damage or trigger mod.
Divine mod values until you have max-rolled crit chance
CAREFUL: this crafting process is just a safe way of getting all the mods you want but can end up quickly in a currency sink as there's no guarantee how often you need to reforge until you hit T1 crit (reforging can also result in spell crit or crit multi)!
To start with, you can just spam essences until you hit T1 crit and an open suffix
Shield:
Get two shield bases. For one of them (your main base) you want a Supreme Spiked Shield (suppress implicit + Eva/ES)
Also check for 20%+ quality and good base-values (otherwise qual up to 20%)
iLv main shield: 86, the other can be 80+
To make things faster and cheaper, you can already buy them with influence. Influence type depends on the mods you want.
1) Hunter or Shaper influence for reservation efficiency (Hunter also can roll %life)
2) Redeemer (aura effect or phys avoidance) or Crusader or Shaper (%life on block)
Roll both shields with alt/aug until you have both mods (needs to be the only influence-mod on each item!)
Awakener Orb them together. You want at least one open prefix.
If you have an open prefix and suffix, beast-craft the Aspect on the shield (otherwise suffixes will be filled up with a random mod)
Craft 'suffixes cannot be changed', harvest reforge life until you hit a good life roll
Bench-craft block chance (or Evasion/ES if you rolled block aswell)
Body Armour:
Get an iLv 86 Necrotic Armour, preferably with a good fracture (but not necessary)
Check for 20%+ quality and good base-values (otherwise qual up 20%)
Use Dense fossils or harvest reforge defence until you have very high defence values (and no life-roll)
Make Eater of Worlds dominant and use Eldritch Currency to craft suffixes you need. Make sure you have an open suffix.
Bench-craft the ES regen mod and roll the right eldritch implicits.
Optional: use Tailoring Orbs and try to hit a defence enchantment -> do BEFORE you link sockets as this can reroll them
Finish sockets and links
Boots:
Get iLv 86 Phantom Boots, preferably with life or MS fracture (but not necessary)
Check for 20%+ quality and good base-values (otherwise qual up 20%)
Use harvest reforge (chaos) or spam Envy essences until two high-rolled resistances and an open suffix, bench-craft 25% ele avoidance
Make Exarch dominating, craft prefixes with Eldritch Currency (prio on high life)
Roll the right eldritch implicits and finish sockets and links
Note: you can also do this vice versa and start with prefixes (reforge speed)
Gloves:
Same process as boots, but your base (Phantom Mitts) can be iLv 84+
Belt:
Here you have different options. If you haven't crafted the Aspect yet, the belt craft can be done a bit easier.
Base: iLv 83+ Cord Belt
Option 1 (budget, non-influence): you want a belt with high life, 1-2 high rolled resistances (depends if you want to craft the Aspect on this) and an open suffix.
You can either use the harvest bench, fossils, essences or alt/aug (+ annuls) for this. Bench-craft 12% cooldown recovery and use Dextral Catalysts to reach 14% CDR. Anoint Force of Darkness (Prismatic, Opal, Opal)
Note: if you have an open prefix, don't fill up with exalts! You can slam a Hunter Ex later for a chance to hit %life.
>>> with this option, you'll miss the ES regen mod
Option 2 (multimod): you only need a high life roll on this. Alternatively you can use a Hunter or Elder base to get both flat and % life.
You can either use the harvest bench, fossils (life) or alt/aug (+ annuls) to get this. Once you have the prefixes, craft 'prefixes cannot be changed' and scour to clear suffixes.
Bench-craft multimod + cooldown recovery + ES regen.
Use Dextral Catalysts to reach 14% CDR. NOTE: you maybe need to divine until you hit 12% CDR (12% is necessary in combination with Dextral Catalysts) or get the missing CDR elsewhere.
Anoint Force of Darkness (Prismatic, Opal, Opal)
>>> with this option, you'll miss resistances and also can't craft the Aspect on the belt
Option 3 (best possible outcome but hardest to craft): you need at least Shaper influence, but best to use Shaper+Hunter so you can also roll %life or chaos damage
To be able to roll T1 cooldown and T1 %life, you need iLv 84+ but T2 with iLv 83 is also fine. You maybe need to divine later for 14%+ CDR.
Awakener Orb them together (try with %life and a T1 cooldown recovery belt). If the result is bad, scour and use Fertile or Sinistral Catalysts.
You can either use the harvest bench (life), essences (resistances) or fossils (life + block other mods).
What you want is a high life roll, cooldown recovery and either 1 open suffix and a high res or 2 open suffixes. %life or chaos damage is a bonus as this is really hard to get.
With 2 open suffixes, you can bench-craft ES regen and use the other to beast-craft the Aspect. This is why I said before crafting the Aspect on the belt makes the process easier.
With 1 open suffix bench-craft ES regen.
Anoint Force of Darkness (Prismatic, Opal, Opal) and divine CDR until 14%+ if necessary.
>>> The whole craft is pure luck because cooldown recovery is a tagless mod which can't be forced.
Option 4 (unveiling - what I recommend): get Hunter influence on your belt
Use the harvest bench (life) or fossils (life + block other mods) until you hit T1 life, %life and any other good prefix.
Craft 'prefixes cannot be changed' and use a Veiled Chaos Orb. You now either want the veiled mod to be the only suffix or have a high res + veiled mod with one open suffix. Bench-craft any hybrid-chaos-res before unveiling and then unveil either ES regen or cooldown recovery. Bench-craft the other.
If you unveiled ES regen, you need to use Dextral Catalysts to bring the crafted CDR up to 14% (this also almost doubles the regen value compared to the crafted one).
If you unveiled CDR, you can use Fertile or Sinistral Catalysts.
If the veiled mod was your only suffix, you now have one open suffix left which you can use to beast-craft the Aspect.
Anoint Force of Darkness (Prismatic, Opal, Opal) and divine CDR until 14%+ if needed.
Onslaught Ring:
buy any synthesised base with 'Onslaught on Hit' (iLv 84 for T1 res but 83 is also fine)
Use Fertile, Prismatic Catalysts, Sinistral or Dextral Caltaysts
Use Scorn essences until you hit decent suffixes and an open prefix (if not annul)
Craft 'suffixes cannot be changed' and harvest reforge life until you hit a good life roll and an open prefix
Bench-craft %reduced mana cost
Res Ring:
buy any fractured (preferably life) ring base of your choice
Use Fertile, Prismatic Catalysts, Sinistral or Dextral Caltaysts
Use the harvest bench, fossils or essences until you hit decent suffixes and and open prefix (if not annul)
If you have fractured life: Craft 'suffixes cannot be changed' and scour. Bench-craft %reduced mana cost
Without fracture: Craft 'suffixes cannot be changed' and harvest reforge life until you hit a good life roll and an open prefix. Bench-craft %reduced mana cost
Note:
- this ring is usually just cheaper to buy
- if you're still missing Str you can also get it on the ring (essences)
