1) You can level as manaforged arrows if you have twink gear for early 6-links
- Praxis, the unique ring can also make leveling feel smooth but prevents us from completely benefiting from Inspiration support
- Tabula rasa is your obvious easy 6 link
- Leveling bows I chose were Silverbranch -> Roth's Reach -> Doomfletch
- Just cram bow skills into every socket with Manaforged Arrows + Inspiration + Elemental damage with attacks in one 6 link and Manaforged Arrows + Inspiration + Power charge on critical in the other
- Manaforged Arrows + Inspiration only for your 4 link skill setups like Frenzy, Puncture, or Ensnaring Arrow
2) Ascendancy order:
1st = Ricochet (We will respec this to
https://i.redd.it/kez8dijqjl1b1.gifFar Shot once we have some additonal pierce and Vengeant Cascade)
2nd = Endless Munitions
3rd = Gathering Winds
4th = Focal Point
Once you have some additonal pierce, Ricochet loses a lot of damage so spend some of your Regret orbs on swapping to Far Shot!!!
3) Pantheon:
Major = Brine King
Minor = Abberath / Ralakesh
4) Atlas Strategy:
I made this build to speed clear targeted high quantity, high density maps with no investment via these Keystones:
a) Wrath of the Cosmos
b) Wandering Path
c) Stream of Conciousness
We are very glassy, but we are softcore and only care about PHAT LOOT
I can't be bothered to spend time on map fragments or scarabs sometimes. Stream of Conciousness is completely optional.
-If you plan on running this build before you have everything you need, I highly suggest a different mapping strategy without Wandering Path until you can rip through packs with ease
-If you aren't using Wandering Path, my personal recommendation is whatever content you enjoy AND ALL THE SHRINE + STRONGBOX NOTABLES (excluding the ones that affect Cartographer chests)

- No matter what version of manaforged arrows you are playing, you should understand this handful of information:
-Manaforged Arrows is a support gem that triggers the attached skills when 300% of their mana has been spent by OTHER bow skills
-The bow skill that will fill that trigger role for us is: Scourge Arrow
Q: Why?
A: Scourge Arrow is a CHANNELING attack that will be unaffected by our ring craft "Non-channeling skills have -# to total mana cost".
It also does more damage than Snipe, but if you really want to it is an option.
- The mana cost of Scourge Arrow ranges from 4 mana while leveling and 5 mana at level 20
- Whatever skill + additonal support gems you decide to attach to Manaforged Arrows must have:
!!!!!!!! 300% of the linked skill's individual mana cost that is < OR = The cost of Scourge Arrow (4 to 5 mana)!!!!!!!
Q: Why?
A: You want all of your linked skills to trigger every time you tap your channeling bow attack
- Every version of Manaforged Arrows will use Burning Arrow
A) It has the highest effectiveness of added damage for Bow attacks, sitting comfortably at 300%
B) At 12 mana it is the highest cost bow attack
C) Because it costs the most, it will be the skill we try to balance our Inspiration Charges around since we need to spend mana to generate them.
Burning Arrow has to cost at least 1 mana, everything else shouldn't require any mana after our reductions
- Manaforged Arrows as previously mentioned is a TRIGGER skill which means it has a COOLDOWN
Q: How long is the Cooldown?
A: Half a second (0.50 seconds)
- Because our main support applies that cooldown to the skills it triggers, we can benefit heavily from Increased Cooldown Recovery Rate
Q: So more Cooldown Recovery = Better?
A: Our specific Cooldown Recovery Breakpoints are 38% / 52% / 69%
Anything beyond 69% is a diminishing return not worth the investment
However --for my version specifically-- I only have 20% from my bow because I haven't felt the need to push that stat farther

- Alternate Quality Gems -
1) Divergent Inspiration
a) expensive
b) You'll need one so skills in your Chest Piece cost less mana
2) Anomalous Manaforged Arrows
a) we don't care about CDR in this build because we aren't going to hit those breakpoints anyway
b) You'll need two of these, one for your Bow, and one for your Chest
c) same purpose as above, we need them to lower our mana costs
3) Anomalous Hatred
a) Completely unnecessary but probably a small QOL
4) Anomalous Purity of Elements
a) Not required, but can help when in a pinch for resistances
_____________________________________________________________________________________
-Here are the primary Mana Cost Reduction Tools for the build that I have used
1) Inspiration support
2) RING CRAFTS = "Non-channeling skills have -# to total mana cost"
3) HELMET IMPLICIT = Reduced Mana Cost of Attacks 20%-26% -------------------(Warning! this can get expensive if you want that 26%)
4) Rare Jewels = Reduced mana cost of skills 3%-5%
-Here are the expensive alternative options for Mana Cost Reduction that I have used
1) Divergent Inspiration
2) Anomalous Manaforged Arrows
3) Life catalysts on your ring crafts mentioned above
-Here are some band-aid ways to affect your Mana Cost that I have used when in a pinch
1) Flasks
2) Mind Drinker -> Mana Mastery = 10% Reduced Mana cost of Skills
3) Life Mastery = Skills cost Life instead of 30% of Mana costs
____________________________________________________________________________________
-Here are The available gear slots that provide Increased Cooldown Reduction:
1) Crucible Passive Tree (Search for "Reduced skill effect duraion" on the Trade Website)----------- 10% - 25% CDR
2) Manaforged Arrows Support ( Normal with 20% quality )-------------------------------------------------------- 10% CDR
3) Shaper OR Crusader Influenced Belt (Betrayal only goes to 16%)------------------------------------ 10% - 20% CDR
4) Shaper OR Crusader Influenced Boots --------------------------------------------------------------------- 10% - 20% CDR
5) Abyss jewels --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2% - 3% CDR
____________________________________________________________________________________
- Stats to look for on your LETHAL PRIDE -
1) Intimidate on hit
2) Double damage
3) Regenerate 1% of Life per second (Berserk QOL)
4) Gain 5% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
5) 20% increased Physical Damage
6) 5% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage
- Watcher's Eye -
1) Mandatory "%Chance to evade Attacks while affected by grace"
2) Mandatory "%Critical Strike multiplier while affected by Precision"
3) Any other useful effect gained by an Aura you are using. Don't buy expensive 2 mod Watcher's Eyes, it isn't worth it IMO
- Cluster Jewel Notables -
1) Arcing Shot x 2
2) Devastator x 2
3) Martial prowess x 1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~FAQ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Q: What is the purpose of this build?
A: I wanted to make Manaforged Arrows into a Magic finder
Q: Can I Boss with this?
A: I wouldn't recommend it, the build is designed to speed clear T16 Maps with 100% Searing Exarch Altars selected
Q: What are the defensive layers?
A: We use Petrified Blood to increase Divination Distillate uptime, while Grace with Spell Suppression are our Primary Defensive layers.
You may use Cast when Damage Taken + Immortal Call / Steelskin OR Cast on Death + Portal
Q: Is the build going to survive every map mod?
A: You will more than likely die at some point if you select every altar, but for safety I would avoid these scenarios:
1) Meteors are no fun and I personally avoid that choice
2) Chaos damage when using a flask is a buzz kill, you will die
3) Any amount of Reflect --physical or Elemental-- will kill us instantly (Unless you have the sextant applied to your Voidstone which prevents this)
4) Increased monster accuracy is dangerous, but you should still run these in my opinion.
5) Reduced effect of auras can be dangerous when paired with altars
Q: This build looks fun, can I start it with a budget? How much did it cost to start yours?
A: You sure can! I leveled with a Tabula Rasa, a Praxis, and swapped over as soon as I could.
I found my endgame Windripper with a reasonable Crucible Passive Tree for 40 chaos and took the idea from there
Q: Do I have to copy everything in the build 1 to 1?
A: Nope! I would say Manaforged Arrows is an extremely customizable trigger support due to the available sources of cost reduction it has at it's disposal
Anything you see in my setup is just a variation that resulted from me wanting to fit in as much IIQ and IIR as I could while still clearing red maps.
I would highly recommend checking out "Palsteron" or "Path of Chigurh" as their versions / videos are what made this version possible!
(Honorable mention to SnooBAE85 for his thoughts on mixing MF gear 50/50, check out his videos to understand why I thought the idea was possible)
Q: Are there more versions of Manaforged Arrows?
A: Yes, but I think it depends on your choice of amulet. Here are some options I found interesting along the way:
-Ephemeral Bond
-Yoke of Suffering
-Aul's Uprising
-Choir of the Storm
-Fury Valve
-Rashkaldor's Patience
-Stranglegasp if you are rich and lucky
-Ashes of the Stars
-Omniscience
-The Pandemonius / Halcyon
-Leadership's Price if you can get your stats to line up evenly
-Uul-Netol's Vow
I don't think each of these amulets warrant it's own version of Manaforged Arrows, but they are worthwhile stepping stones and landing points
Q: How do we scale our damage?
A: Flat Elemental Damage / Critical Strike Multiplier / Critical Strike Chance / Increased Elemental Damage / Attack Damage
Frenzy Charges / Power Charges / Rampage / Rage & Berserk / Distance traveled of arrows / pierce
Q: Why does Distance traveled for our arrows matter? Pierce also doesn't add any damage!
A: We use two Cluster jewels for a total of two "Arcing Shot" notables
These work well with the notable "Longshot" and our Ascendancy choice of "Far Shot"
We also use a Bow Mastery for "Arrows gain critical strike chance as they travel further, up to 100%"
Pierce will make our damage feel much better because it lets those arrows travel farther to make full use of those notables & masteries
Vengeant Cascade is our annoint; It takes advantage of all the aforementioned distance traveled by making those projectiles return to us, with 100% chance to pierce all targets on return
Q: I saw you were using some Alternate Quality Gems in your setup that weren't talked about above, what's the deal?
A: Just some small experiments not worth mentioning. While interesting, they don't provide a significant difference.
Q: The clearspeed sucks! This build sucks!
A: Make sure to get Cluster Jewels that also have the notable "Devastator" as they grant us 15% chance to explode enemies we have killed
Vengeant cascade and the Elemental Mastery "Hits have 25% chance to treat monster elemental resistance values as inverted" are non-negotiable
Q: Why don't you use Puncture / Ensnaring Arrow / Galvanic Arrow / Caustic Arrow / Etc.
A: Socket pressure in my version is VERY tight, and in order to Shatter frozen monsters consistently we needed as much cold damage as we could stomach
This decision leads to us doing things like using Hatred as an Aura, socketing Awakened Added Cold Damage in both of our 6-links and dropping some of those skills you mentioned
You can drop the CWDT / Auras and fit whatever you'd like in!
Q: POB says Increased critical damage isn't as much damage as this other Support Gem I plugged in
A: POB does not account for Distance Traveled and the amount of critical strike chance we gain from our Arrows behaving that way.
While something like "Increased Elemental Damage with Attacks" Is a ~5% dps increase according to POB, we are losing DPS in my opinion by swapping to it
You will notice we apply larger Elemental ailments, shatter more consistently, and in my opinion clear more quickly with "Increased Critical Damage" support
Q: Maloney's Mechanism sucks, why are you using it?
A: Watch it! I love Maloney's Mechanism and it's really cool I swear!
ALSO we definitely need it for the socket pressure our build requires
Q: How do you fit all of your auras in?
A: We make use of Arrogance for Precision and Vitality
Charisma + Eater of Worlds Helmet Implicit provides the Increased Mana reservation Efficiency we need for our goals
An Aul's Uprising Amulet also let's us fit in that last additonal Aura of our choice
Q: How many times have you died?
A: As of writing this guide I have died on Bowabunga_Vashthalas 706 times!
