Hello friends, this league I decided to push an old favorite of mine, Doryani's Fist, way past what any sane person would. I managed to reach decent mapping DPS (Roughly 10-12 Million dps) while overinvesting in AOE to make Dominus proud. Using new stuff from the past two leagues makes the skill surprisingly comfy. Many Volatile Vaal Orbs were hurt in the making of this build.

Budget: 1.5-2 mirrors

Offense:

- diamond-massive Screams of the Desiccated combined with Marylene's Fallacy for free crit multi and AOE increase.

-convert 50% of lightning into chaos with foulborn the Blue Nightmare jewel combined with Unholy Trinity to ignore lightning and chaos res.

-Multiple sources of attack speed to compensate for the very slow base attack speed of Doryani's Touch (Frenzy charges, double attack speed cluster jewel, onslaught and adrenaline).

-big shocks

Defense:

- 91% chance to block attack and spells. I always wanted to try a Svalinn build and figured I could make it fit in this one. PS: If you decide to Volatile Vaal Orb some Svalinn, do not forget to Blessed Orb them first like me.

- 7 endurance charges.

- Some armour, leech and regen.

- Sap from foulborn Doryani's Fist.

Sap

Cons:

- This is not a bosser build: the damage is underwhelming when you run out of things to kill or flask charges.

- Crit resistant rares take 5 times longer than other rares.

- No matter how much you invest in attack speed, this is a non-acceleration or echo Screams of the Desiccated build.

- This is effectively a 5 link build in a league where a 7 link is the norm.

- I am pretty sure I am doing irreversible damage to my retinas from the constant blue-white flashes. If anyone from GGG reads this, a MTX that is easier on the eyes would be wonderful.

Honourable mentions:

- Writhing Jar is surprisingly good in this setup, it keeps the rage stacks, adrenaline and onslaught up if there is no monster around (it also grants a couple of stacks of flat lightning from chest armour). It also helps if you cannot leech or regen mana/life from map mods or eater altars.

- Tenacity anoint (5% life and Transfiguration of body) ends up giving a pretty decent 65% increased damage because of the amount of increased life from the massive shrine effect and other sources.

- I initially had a wither totem setup but decided it was not worth the hassle.

- Double attack speed large cluster jewels are very good.
