Regarding build choices:
Devouring Diadem: A really good choice after divine blessing nerfs, but isn't as good on EA as many other builds, because the amount of useful auras is very limited on EA. Also makes socket pressure much easier to manage as you don't need lifetap everywhere.
Skin of the Loyal (+5): higher damage, but less hp and harder to fit in terms of spell suppression etc. Global defence pairs well with eldritch battery. Debatable whether or not this is the optimal variant of the build.
Mageblood: Is a damage loss over Dyadian Dawn, but is definitely worth the loss, and the attack speed you get from a flask compensates for quite a bit of the damage.
Fractured bow: normally synthesised multimodded bow is the way to go, but with Skin of the Loyal, this was the realistic option here.
No triple elemental flask setup: Permanent phasing from quartz flask is too good to pass up for EA's playstyle of going past mobs, and without quicksilver why are you even playing POE, this means we can't properly fit triple ele flasks
Primal Manifestation, Totemic Zeal and Watchtowers: Apart from anointing Watchtowers, these nodes and the nodes leading to them offer us very little as we don't need the attack speed, so we don't take them.
Shaper of Storms instead of Bastion of Elements: Damage = good.
Watcher's Eye, Rain of Splinters, Lethal Pride, Unnatural Instinct, Stormshroud: All really good items you shouldn't skimp out on.
Not pathing right from EE: Normally a good choice for attributes/accuracy/suppression/attack speed, but the build is really desperate for life nodes, and we can fix suppression with Watcher's.
Not pathing to Heavy Draw: Edge case, it's really good but again, we prefer some more life nodes
2% regen while moving life mastery: Underrated, we are moving all the time anyways
Aspect of the Spider and Defiance Banner, but no Wrath: With how much added flat we get from bow and ring, Wrath only amounts to 11.4% more damage, which is really bad so we don't take it, even though it's normally a high damage aura on EA.
Ignite proliferation in main links: A great place to get QoL over damage, and with us not using lifetap or inspiration, we don't have any crazy strong links left anyways.
Cast on Death Portal: If your build can't make use of this, your build is unnecessarily tanky for SC.
No combustion/trap anywhere: Socket pressure and not worth the extra click.
Blink Arrow: This is shield charge but for bows. People saying EA is slow have never equipped this gem.
Fuse Duration: Lastly the most important part. Getting a ton of attack speed is a huge opportunity cost, and getting fuse duration, which you get for essentially free, is a massive boon to the build. If the increased fuse duration feels bad, you are probably playing the build wrong to begin with, run past mobs, and don't wait for them to die, and there won't be a difference. Also running the correct maps is important. Maps like strand can feel bad if you have to walk back to pick up drops, so instead run maps like promenade and bog, where you naturally have to zig zag and run past loot you just dropped.
