Overview

Thorns Titan is the most fun I've had in PoE2 so far - Path of Exile 2 Dawn of the Hunt Build Guide is a Path of Exile 2 Titan build by SillyIsLily, made for the Dawn of the Hunt league (0.2). It is centered on Spear Stab and plays as a attack, area, melee, strike archetype. In Path of Building it reaches 420.25 DPS with 6.38K effective HP, 1.57K life. Suited for: Simulacrum, Sanctum, Sekhemas, Ultimatum. Key uniques include Dreadfist, Briarpatch, Carnage Heart, Crown of the Pale King.

----------BUILD NOTES---------- Tame a beast with Invulnerability Aura for defense or Haste Aura for movement speed Jack of All Trades becomes better than Brute Strength once you get Astramentis Path towards Parrying Motion and change instill to Offensive Stance when you have enough currency to instill Offensive Stance - it's a lot of damage but also very expensive Keep your Dexterity gems low level - they don't improve damage much but they do increase your Dexterity requirements a lot Your spear DPS makes a negligible difference. Accuracy rating and attack speed are all that really matters on your spear. Keep the Dexterity requirement low Do what feels right with charms - a chaos resistance one can be a big help early Avoid increases to stun build up - stunned enemies can't hit you, and no hits means no damage PoB can't simulate Thorns DPS yet - I'll update this guide when it does and then I'll be able to optimise much better I'll release a levelling guide soon, it's a lot more work than the endgame guide and my own personal levelling experience was janky because I did it with a mace and it wasn't a league starter If you're struggling to ascend with Sekhemas/Sanctum make sure you have 75% honour resist from your idols. You don't lose honour while blocking, abuse this. If you're struggling to ascend with Trial of Chaos/Ultimatum git gud Use resonating shield to break armour until you get rapid assault to 4 link, then use a mix of them until you get rapid assault to a 5 link, at which point only use resonating shield if you're running Sekhemas/Sanctum I don't have a Discord, if you have any questions, advice or input put it in YouTube comments and I'll respond to as many as I can (and add FAQ to here)
