[POE 3.21] DEADEYE CONVERSION! Lightning Arrow and Artillery Ballista Into Crit Tornado Shot!

I want to note that I took a a ton on inspiration from him for this league starter and swapped a few things around to my liking. This is the build I used in testing before I made the swap to Deadeye and had gear. This was able to help push me into late yellows and early red maps in a SSF scenario. This build will excel with gear found off trade if you go that route. I AM NOT THAT ADVANCED YET TO FULLY BUILD THAT TREE SO AS I GET GEAR ON MY LEAGUE START I WILL STREAM THE PROGRESSION AND MAKE CHANGES ACCORDINGLY ONCE I HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT I WILL MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT THE CHANGES AND WHAT TO DO / NOT DO AND HOW I DID IT / MESSED IT UP SO YOU AVOID THOSE MISTAKES. We use Haste as our Aura because we want to go FAST AS HECK BOIIIIIIIII *******VAAL LIGHTNING ARROW IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN POB SO I CANT INPUT THAT SKILL IF YOUR LOOKING AT THIS EARLY , THIS WILL BE UPDATED TO REFLECT SWAPPING TO VAAL LIGHTNING ARROW************* *****NOTE******* YOU ONLY NEED TO LEVEL PRECISION IF AND ONLY IF YOUR ACCURACY IS LOWER THAN YOUR TOTAL LIFE POOL FOR PRECISE TECHNIQUES Note For Leveling! I used Galvanic Arrow until the Swap to Lightning Arrow when I hit a four link! You can choose to level Rain of Arrows when you hit level 12 instead. Both skills are very good! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE WITH LEVELING YOU WANT TO KEEP UP TO DATE WITH THE DAMAGE ON YOUR BOW! HAVING MORE DPS ON YOUR BOW WILL INCREASE THE OVERALL LEVELING EXPERIENCE YOU WILL HAVE. You want to make sure to upgrade your bow every act/other act with either essenses, picking them up off the floor, crafting on an elemental damage to compliment a bow you find. Just overal like with any other class keep up with your weapon. I have done many a runs clearning the campaign with a 200 dps bow and a quiver from act 1-2 on stream. While it is still doable in the under 5 hour mark finding a bow to increase dps just feels better and makes gameplay way smoother. Socket coloring with gear - Blue sockets can be rather difficult to maintain (atleast in my experience) while I recommend using FrostBlink this is a personal prefernce movement skill. It is much easier to socket in Dash and use Dash. The combination of Blink Arrow -> Dash is pretty good and if you want to go quicker and lose some damage you can take the Blink Arrow CDR mastery though I personally do not. The int and strength nodes I take are only for the campaign and leveling, once you sort out your gear you should not need them. Only take them as needed Act 1 - I mention to take to take Primal Spirit early for early access to Int/Strength and mana regen. These nodes are great! In some runs I grab them early in some runs I grab them later. I always see myself needing them in every run by the time I hit act 4. Usually you can take them whenever and be ok. I prefer going towards Aspect of the Eagle and Heart of Oak before Brutus and Mervail just to help with the damage. Act 2 - Bandits - Kill them! <3 skill points Act 3 - TAKE THE INT AMULET FROM THE REWARDS!!!! FOR AURAS NOTE THE FOLLOWING - IF YOU NEED MORE RESISTANCES USE PURITY OF ELEMENTS IF YOU NEED MORE MOVEMENT SPEED USE HASTE IF YOU NEED MORE DAMAGE USE WRATH COMBINATIONS OF AURA I SUGGEST ADVANCED PLAYERS (ailments dont scare me im a big poe player) - Wrath + Haste Mid-Tier (I hate you ailments dont freeze me daddy) - Purity of Elements + Haste Lower Tier (THINGS DONT DIE MORE DAMAGE PLEASE) - Purity of Elements + Wrath For me personally I will be more then likely doing Purity of Elements + Haste or Haste + Wrath , In my testing I only had Herald of Ice into Haste and it went great. My bow and quiver though was above average so that carried Act 4 / 5 - We swap off Galvanic / Rain of arrows when we get a 4 link for Lightning Arrows - until then DO NOT MAKE THE SWAP 4 green is ideal for the lightning arrow swap but I included other link combinations incase you dont find 4 green and want to make the swap right away! Act 6-10 skills and notes - You can add on LifeTap to artillery ballista instead of faster attacks if you have have mana issues. The same goes for Lightning Arrow once you feel comfortable enough to put it on LifeTap do it For Act 6 I like fully swapping chain into my setup and did a few test runs on stream with it. Chain felt amazing and the extra projectiles bouncing around felt like more dps and better clear in the long run. You will be using Artillery Ballista for your single target so that wont be an issue and you will clear multiple screens with chain. I took the Strength and Int nodes because in my SSF play through I ran into problems with Strength and Int! As you get better gear and can make up for this problem you can drop these nodes. THEY ARE ONLY HERE IF AND ONLY IF YOU NEED THEM Maps!!! - Precision is on Arrogance Support UNTIL YOU GET THE UNIQUE AMULET CALLED Hyrri's Truth - Once you get this amulet you can remove precision from your skill gems **NOTE THE LEVELS OF THE CAST WHEN DAMAGE TAKEN SETUP!!!!*** **Pantheons** We are going with the Stun Pantheon and Bleed Pantheon (change as needed for content you are running) - Brine King and Ralakesh ***HOW TO GET TAMING RINGS***** Either Buy It On Trade ~50chaos day1-2 (PLEASE NOTE PRICES MAY VARY DO NOT HOLD ME TO THESE PRICES) or Buy the following rings and vendor recipie them: 1) Berek's Respite (this is the expensive one, can be farmed via div card on Atoll *thanks balefire for telling me about this* 2) Berek's Grip (usually 1-3c) 3) Berek's Pass (usually 1-3c) Gear in maps! For this note just fill out gear / resistances as needed! There isnt going to be a whole big thing you need for gear to really get into high end mapping just get life and fill out your resistances! If you can get chaos resistance on anything do it! Also if you can get strength and dex on your gear pieces this will help free up 2 points on the passive skill tree. These points can be put into Frenzy Charges! ------------------------------------------------- DEADEYE SWAP TO CRIT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The empty jewel sockets in the clusters are for your choosing of what to put. I personally plan on putting a Forbidden Flame and Forbidden Flesh setup there. TAKING ANY OF THE NOTABLES IN THE DEADEYE TREE THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE INCLUDING FOCAL POINT then just adjusting pathing. I would advise you to scout around and find a cheap one and go with any of them. Most players go with Far Shot but that will be insanely expensive. As far as the body armour goes, Hyrri's Ire is a ton of free damage and spell suppression to get us started. YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO THIS ARMOUR AND YOU CAN ADJUST YOUR GEAR ACCORDINGLY. I will more then likely be going this route and grab hyrris then adjust my gear after I obtain Headhunter. How the gear will look post Hyrri's and headhunter I can not answer yet but I will make an update to the video when I get there The gear is designed currently to be the bare minumum for the swap. In testing on stream I was able to do tier 16 red maps with a 1000 elemental dps bow and nothing else on a four link. The gear can be upgraded A LOT and I MEAN A LOT in this variation of the pob. This is designed to help you make the swap and give you a start to a gear plan. I will be posting updated content/videos with my gear and updates. My profile will also be available for you guys to check out my gear progression. But this version of the pob is not designed to be UBER END GAME , this is the swap to deadeye helps you get rolling and give you direction. A belt option to consider is a Darkness Enthroned and get juiced 6 stated abyssal jewels. But I havent explored this yet so it is something you can look into for sure. FOR THE HELMET THERE ARE TWO HELMETS, 1 WITH ELDRITCH IMPLICITS AND ONE WITHOUT LOOK AT BOTH --------------------------------------CRAFTING THE BOW -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If Lightning Arrow we want an Imperial Bow or Thicket Bow If Tornado Shot we want a Spine Bow Step 1 ) Obtain a 6 link bow ------Imperial 6 link bows can be obtained via the Imperial Legacy Card! --------------------- ------Other sources for 6link bows are to get a bow, craft it up how you want it, get it to 6 socket 4 link, bring it to the menageria. Beast craft it corrupted 30% quality then use tainted fusings to finish it up------------ Step 2) Slam Essences! Essences will be easy to get this league as they are on the atlas device! Go into low tier white maps and just blast and get essences! If memories exist you can also put memories on white tier maps and blast those for essences! Ideally you want to use a Fire or Cold to Attack damage essence when crafting. This is because Lightning Damage on Tier 1 is much better then essence tier 1 lightning. If you have the lightning essence though dont be afraid to use them. Preferable use deafeaning as your essence choice. Step 3) What to look for on the bow! You are looking for 3 elemental damage types as close to tier 1 as possible. So for example Tier 1/1/1 Fire/Light/Cold would be perfect but if you hit 3/3/3 2/3/3 1/2/3 1/3/3 or any form we are very happy with that! If you happen to hit 1-2 elemental types that are good tier with an open prefix use 4c craft on the last elemental damage type and be thrilled! Step 4) What if I get 3 good prefixes and want to finish the suffixes! Because we are aiming for a high elemental dps bow and not too worried about +1/2 arrows off the bat (thank you new passive tree) we can craft on Attack Speed / Crit as needed you can also multimod your suffixes as well and craft on both! Step 5) Essences suck! I cant get the bow now what! Look for the proper base and aim to see if you can find a fractures tier 1/2 elemental damage! Remember since we can use beast to 6link the bow we dont need to buy a 6link base we can get a nice fractured base! This will make using essences infinitely easier! Step 6) GO BLAST! MAKE CURRENCY WOOO!!!! In testing I had a 1000dps bow on a 4link and was able with a couple of essences on stream able to create multiple copies of 800 elemental dps bows. Creating the bow shouldnt be too hard, I know crafting is scary but the discord can help walk you through it! We can also help craft you the bow if you can get the materials together!
