Posted about this nearly a week ago, didn't get much traction. I would still like some suggestions on how to push the build a bit further and improve it for more quality of life, smoothness of play, and be able to try more pinnacle/aspirational content since this league has been insanely cracked.
Some differences from previous POB to current POB:
- Stopped being stingy about making "big" upgrades, such as dropping 20-30 divines for substantial upgrades. Belt, rings, jewels, etc.
- Swapped to using single CoC with Ice Spear of Splitting instead of double CoC with Arc/Crackling Lance.
- Swapped Cyclone of Tumult for more attack speed ramp and general QoL while mapping. Also, swapped to The Stampede since its arguably best-in-slot for Cyclone usage.
- Leveled a lot of my gems so the numbers aren't scuffed. Started leveling more gems to corrupt for 21/0 aura gems.
- Gained a few more levels to fit in Unwavering Stance (stun immunity) and shuffled some points on the tree.
- Swapped to a ES on hit Watcher's Eye. Previously was using a weird %ES regen per second Watcher's Eye and it was just alright; strictly mid and would not recommend unless on a tighter budget.
Some other goofy talking points that I'm not exactly sold on being ideal but "felt" right for me; I'm open to swapping things around if I can find a suitable alternative/have enough currency:
- Using an Instruments of Virture Forbbiden Flame/Flesh and going up the Sanctuary + Pious Path ascendancy to utilize consecrated ground. I'm using it mainly for curse mitigation and regen but its not completely there. I originally had reduced curse effect on one of my flasks and that together put me at nearly full curse immunity as long as I remembered to stand still.
- Using Leap Slam + Frostblink technically forces my character to stand still after usage so that somewhat automated consecrated ground generation. Also, I got tired of getting stuck on terrain with Shield Charge.
- STR+ES Split Personality jewels were budget options when I picked them up about two weeks ago; I believe I got them both for 100c each at the time. They have been working fine and I'm not eager to swap to STR+INT versions just yet; I want to upgrade other things first.
- Looking for a good reflect immunity charm for quality of life. I think having a form of culling strike is too good to skip.
- That said, I haven't found a That Which Was Taken jewel I want to utilize yet. I honestly forgot about that jewel since the rolls were so RNG heavy that I just ignored it.
I feel like I need some form of mana leech as I run out of mana during super tanky boss mobs. If I juice maps too hard (triple wisps 6k+, for example) then bosses just look at me until I run out of mana. I also feel like while I have respectable DPS, its not enough for super wisp juiced mobs/bosses.
I've spent somewhere around the range of 90~ divines total on this build over the course of 4 weeks. I currently have a budget of about 50 divines and have a strategy to make much more over time; its steady and consistent so it fits my pace just fine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
