Disclaimer
This is not my original build. The original build was introduced by iLoveRuetoo. You can watch his amazing video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KK-XoHZI_Yc
iLoveRuetoo’s original build is super cheap and effective. It only costs less than 20 Divines, including an extra projectile tattoo. I think it is one of the best Tornado Shot builds out there, especially for beginners or budget players.
I had so much fun with the original build and was curious how it would be if I invested a bit more currency, and the result is quite satisfying. My POB is for the players who want to go all out and invest 50~80 Divines more. With my build, you can cap Chaos resistance and deal more damage.

Build Mechanic:
- Doomfletch bow gains 100% physical damage as extra fire, cold and lightning damages, so any physical flat damage produces quadruple damage output. Also we increased physical damage using Ryslatha’s coil and Volatility support gems. These two methods have a critical drawback which is they significantly decrease minimum damage as well. Because of this drawback, they are mainly used for bleed effect. However, we minimize the drawback by using `Dance with Death` keystone passive skill.
Pros:
- Low budget: Original build requires less than 20 Divines including an additional projectile tattoo. No Mageblood, No mirror bow and no Omni.
- Very fun mapping
- Gears are easy to craft
- Decent defense layers
- Virtually can run any map mods
Cons:
- Capping resistances and attributes are tricky since no helmet and 3 core unique items
- It is difficult to make level 100 character: I reached level 98 quite easily, but I think I need to be very careful for additional level up
- Not an ideal build for Boss farming
- Damage does not scale very well in very high investment
Build Tips
- Bow’s corrupted implicit mod is very important: +1 arrow is the BiS but add physical damage, attack speed, critical strike chance, projectile speed gem support and momentum gem support are also very good too. Especially, momentum support gives you 34% increased attack speed and 60% movement speed with a little bit of control, but it makes mapping way more fun.
- Capping resistances and attributes are quite tricky if you want to apply tattoos as many as possible. In my case, I use permanent Bismuth flask effect for 80% all resistances using body armour with a special implicit (2 flask charges every 3 seconds), 3 skill points on the tree for flask nodes, and a Brutal Restraint timeless jewel for 30% increased charges gain.
- Ailment: you must take these two mastery. `Spell Suppression Mastery: Suppressed Spell Damage cannot inflict Elemental Ailments on you` and `Flask Mastery: Remove a random Non-Elemental Ailment when you use a Life Flask`. IMO, these two nodes are OP. I barely die from any ailment. Also, You need corrupted blood immunity from somewhere. At the moment, the easiest way is the Interrogation small cluster jewel’s corrupted implicit.
- Bandits: IMO, Alira is the best unless you can afford extra 30 Divines for a jewel.
- Intimidate: It is definitely a good damage boost but I believe the ‘attack mastery: Nearby Enemies are Intimidated while you have Rage’ does not fit our build because, most likely, the range is only 25 units. If you really want it, you can get it from synthesis ring implicit mod.
Possible Improvement
- intimate implicit ring:
- two corrupted implicit mods on belt
- elemental weakness on hit(glove or ring) with additional curse amulet anoint
Enjoy!
