Hi guys! So there are 2 builds that I wanted to try this league and that I've never done before: a Doryani's Prototype build (The_Scourgeminator on poe.ninja if you're interested) and a Secrets of Suffering build.
I've been theory crafting this build and I tried to keep everything realistic, not do some crazy click all the dps boxes in pob kind of build and this is what I came up with: https://pastebin.com/gkmUhWfy
The core idea of the build is that, with Painseeker gloves and Secrets of Suffering, you can't inflict freeze/shock/burn, but can still inflict scorch/brittle/sap. This is really good, as you can see with just a 15 brittle, I'm crit capped. The reasoning for the items I choose are as follows:
Abyssus is going to be hard to beat, not even sure how a better helmet would look like.
Going for Abyssus and the gloves means Kaom is necessary, given my general lack of hp on my items, but for a min max version maybe a body armor with max hp, increased hp and a phys taken as element roll might be better.
For the weapon, Voidforge is really fun. Although I think that, endgame, a Capricious Spiritblade and a Paradoxica might be better. Or maybe a Saviour instead of Paradoxica?
Watcher's Eye I'm not sure which mod is better, the physical converted to cold seems like the most damage.
Rest of the items are nothing special, just put them as placeholders, so not even res capped. But not too worried about that.
And for the skill, I thought doing a sweep could be fun. Also, Flicker can do like 3 mil on this setup. Originally I was thinking of Consecrated Path, but the lack of added physical damage on the gem means almost half the damage.
What do you guys think? Also, what other skill would you use on this setup? Cyclone seems too boring. Also, what about Ascendacy? Still debating if going the ailment immune route on Raider is better, I would probably have to drop the Soul of Steel region if I go for that. And another idea was to go Slayer which seems to be a bit more damage, but not as smooth.
