I've been seeing all the complaints about Melee builds requiring the usage of Ancestral totems to maintain decent DPS, and thought to myself, why not make a build that's focused on the totems themselves?
Summary of the build:
Offense:
-
5mil DPS
-
3 Active Ancestral Protector totems
-
Ancestral Warchief used as a single target DPS buff thanks to Totem mastery - Ancestral buffs linger for 3 seconds (The totem itself doesn't stay active on the field, we summon it for the buff linger, then resummon Protector)
-
Perseverence belt scaling (375% increased attack damage)
-
Permanent Onslaught with 80% increased effect (Perseverence and Champion's Fortitude)
-
Impale supported by Champion's Master of Metal
-
Pride aura
-
4 Frenzy Charges (Blood rage for mapping and Frenzy gem for single target generation)
-
Splash damage and Strike skills target 1 additional enemy (Tribal fury + attack mastery)
Defense:
-
123k EHP with molten shell (57k without)
-
4.2k life
-
93% evade chance
-
90% phys dmg reduction
-
100% Elemental ailment immunity
-
100% Spell suppression
-
200 life regen (with blood rage active)
-
75% to all resistances (Inc. chaos)
-
3 End. charges (Enduring cry with Call to Arms)
Quality of Life:
-
116% movespeed
-
Corpse destruction (Axe mastery)
-
No mana issues (Protector cost 8 mana, Vulnerability 12, rest of skills 0 mana)
-
Phasing (Quartz flask)
-
Automated Molten shell, Enduring cry and Blood rage
